Smartphones are steadily gaining popularity, creatingnew application areas as their


capabilities increase interms of computational power, sensors and
communication.Emerging new features of mobile devices give opportunityto new
threats. Android is one of the newer operating sys-tems targeting smartphones. While
being based on a Linuxkernel, Android has unique properties and specific limita-tions
due to its mobile nature. This makes it harder to de-tect and react upon malware attacks
if using conventionaltechniques.In this paper, we propose an Android Application
Sand-box (AASandbox) which is able to perform both static anddynamic analysis on
Android programs to automatically de-tect suspicious applications. Static analysis
scans the soft-ware for malicious patterns without installing it. Dynamicanalysis
executes the application in a fully isolated envi-ronment, i.e.sandbox, which intervenes
and logs low-levelinteractions with the system for further analysis. Both thesandbox
and the detection algorithms can be deployedinthe cloud, providing a fast and
distributed detection of sus-picious software in a mobile software store akin to
Google’sAndroid Market. Additionally, AASandbox might be used toimprove the
efficiency of classical anti-virus applicationsavailable for the Android operating system

• Hasil/Kesimpulan :

In this study, the authors present a sandbox designed to analyze Android applications
that can be applied as a cloud service. Therefore, the authors show how the Android
emulator can be used to run Android applications in an isolated environment. Unlike
other sandboxes, we added pre-check functionality that can analyze Android
executables in a static manager. doing so could indicate the use of malicious patterns
in the source code. In dynamic analysis system calls can be tracked and associated
reports logged. it can also be used for further investigation, either manually or
automatically.

Pada era global seperti sekarang ini perkembangan teknologi sangat pesat
terutama pada smartphone. Perkembangan teknologi smartphone yang begitu cepat
menghasilkan dampak positif bagi manusia. Dampak positif tersebut antara lain
kecepatan, kemudahan akses, dan kenyamanan dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-
hari. Sudah banyak aplikasi pada smartphone yang dibuat guna mempermudah
aktivitas sehari-hari manusia, contohnya aplikasi menetukan letak lokasi
pengguna. Dengan adanya aplikasi menentukan letak lokasi pengguna, pengguna
dapat dengan mudah menentukan letak lokasi diri sendiri ataupun orang lain,
seperti misalnya lokasi anak. Sering kali anak membolos sekolah dan keluar
malam tanpa sepengetahuan orang tua mereka. Berdasarkan permasalahan
terseut dibangun aplikasi memantau lokasi anak berbasis mobile guna
memudahkan para orang tua memantau lokasi anak-anak mereka.

• Hasil/Kesimpulan :

Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dan analisis pembuatan aplikasi dapat disimpulkan


sebagai berikut :
1. Aplikasi yang dibuat pada tugas akhir ini dapat menampilkan lokasipengguna
dan juga anggota keluarga terutama anak, sehingga orang tua yang menggunakan
aplikasi ini dapat melihat lokasi anak mereka saat ini.
2. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan, aplikasi yang dibuat pada tugas akhir ini
dapat dapat dijalankan pada perangkat bergerak dengan sistem operasi android
versi Jelly Bean dan Lollipop.
3. Pada tugas akhir ini pembuatan aplikasi menggunakan eclipse.4.Aplikasi yang
dibuat pada tugas akhir ini membutuhkan koneksi internetdan GPSuntuk
menampilkanposisi pengguna.
