Topic: Limkokwing Promo

Assignment Overview:

1. You are required to work in a group of three (3) to create and design a video to
promote any activity done in Limkokwing the video inspire new students to study at
Limkokwing. You MUST include some Motion tracking, Type animation, 3D
animation to further enhance your video. The minimum length of your video is 2
minutes and the maximum length is 3 minutes.
2. Draw a storyboard on how you plan on animation the Logo. The storyboard should be
a minimum of 4 parts
3. Create a Documentation (screenshot and techniques used.)
4. At the begin of the animation you are to create an animation of the logo of
Limkokwing(TYPE ANIMATION) .
5. Render a video of animation

Assignment Objectives:

- To create, design and integrate various 2D computer graphics and photographs as well
as music in producing a multimedia video showreel.
- To test student’s capabilities in using Adobe After Effects software applications to
create and design various Motion tracking, Type animation, 3D animation .
- To test students capability of editing a Video.

Marking Criteria:
The project will be given marks based on the following scheme:

This coursework constitutes 30% of your coursework.

Submission Criteria:

- Soft copy in the form A Class Flash, which contains the final video in .avi format, all
the images, all the songs, and project files..

Project Ground Rules:

1. Plagiarism/Cheating is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and zero marks would be awarded.

2. Assignment to be submitted on time in line with professional requirements.

3. Late submission will NOT be entertained and marks will be deducted.

4. If you fall sick or have problems with your assignment, you must advise your
instructor immediately – at least a week before the assignment is due! (If you fall sick
a day or two before your deadline, tough luck!). So, you are advised to plan and work
on your assignment beforehand!

5. Computer crashes are NOT excuses for late submission! ALWAYS BACKUP your
own works.

6. The assignment is to be submitted with a signed cover sheet available to confirm


the time and submission date.

7. Importantly, you are required to keep a copy of all submitted assignments to


safeguard against loss or missing assignments!!!

8. Dateline is strictly Deadline.
