•  625 millions of euro invested in 25 modern high speed trains AGV;
•  90 millions of euro of investment in Maintenance Depot of Nola
(Regione Campania);
•  280 millions Euros in other operational investments;
•  20 millions Euros invested in training.

Italo’s entrance in the Italian Rail market is having a major impact on


services delivered to customers and to the economy:

1)  Improvement of offer with new and higher quality services


2)  Tickets price decrease & wider offering for passengers; Higher
frequency and additional services; Incumbent has not reduced its
offer.
3)  Process Innovation (new mix of Sales Channels)
4)  Increase of employment
5)  A continuous development of the High Speed Italian market (+39 per
cent) despite the ongoing Italian recession (-4 per cent) (2012-2013).
