PROCRASTINATION

Have you ever put off your assignment until the last minute? Or Attention grabber
perhaps studied for the test only a day before? Or maybe
delayed writing an essay until the last possible hour? All of us
are guilty of delaying tasks and putting off important work until a
later date. The next thing we know, it is the end of the day and
our important task remains unfinished. 

Good morning ladies and gentlemen and thank you all for Greetings, introduce
coming. It is my great pleasure to welcome you here this topic and specific
morning to deliver a speech entitled, “Procrastination” and I will
specifically talk about the impacts on procrastination. purpose

I have been wondering why most people love to avoid or Credibility


delaying their work, and this has inspired me to do extensive
research on this topic.

One of the American journalists, Don Marquis. Stated that Background


“Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.” It information
refers to either avoiding a task altogether or deferring it to a
later, often unspecified time. In one study, Steel, P. (2007)
describe that approximately 80%–95% of college students
engage in procrastination to some degree, approximately 70%
consider themselves to be procrastinators, and approximately
50% say that they procrastinate in a consistent and problematic
manner.
