1. Blog- Is an online journal where posted information from both teachers & students are arranged.

2. Data/Calculation tools- are defined as a series of charts, maps and diagrams designed to collect,
interpret and present data for a wide range of applications and industries.

3. Design Tools- Design tools are objects, media, or computer programs, which can be used to
design.

4. Digital Learning- Is any type of learning that is accompanied by technology or by instructional


practice that makes effective use of technology. It encompasses the application of a wide
spectrum of practices including: blended & virtual learning.

5. Digital Literacy- Is the ability to find, evaluate, utilize, share & create contents using information
technologies on the internet. Requiring both cognitive & technical skills.

6. Discussion Tools- provides an area for collaboration allowing learners to post, read and reply
messages on different topics, share thoughts about course materials, ask questions, share files
or work with your peers on assignments.

7. Educational Technology- Refers to the technology that is used in teaching & learning.

8. Email Tools- program that features and functionality for using electronic mail. In most cases,
these programs are not actual email hosting technologies, but rather, email editors with different
formats, layout and messaging functionality tools.

9. Facebook- Is a popular social networking site used by students & adults worldwide to present
information on themselves and to the world.

10. Flipped Classroom- a type of blended learning where students are introduced to content at home
and practice working through it at school.

11. Gmail- It is a free email service developed by Google. It is a free web-based email service that
provides users with a gigabyte of storage for messages and provides the ability to search for
specific messages. It also automatically organizes successively related messages into a
conversational thread.

12. Google Apps- Is a cloud-based teaching tool which is stored on the Google Server & is available
for students both home and school.

13. Google Calendar- Google Calendar is a time-management and scheduling calendar service
developed by Google. ... Google Calendar allows users to create and edit events. Reminders can
be enabled for events, with options available for type and time. Event locations can also be
added, and other users can be invited to events.

14. Google Docs- Google Docs is a free Web-based application in which documents and
spreadsheets can be created, edited and stored online. ... Users of Google Docs can import,
create, edit and update documents and spreadsheets in various fonts and file formats, combining
text with formulas, lists, tables and images.
15. Google Form- Google Forms is a web-based app used to create forms for data collection
purposes. Students and teachers can use Google Forms to make surveys, quizzes, or event
registration sheets.

16. Handheld Devices- Is any portable device that can be carried and held in one’s palm.

17. Information and Communication Technology- Or ICT Literacy is the use of digital technology,
communications tools, &/or networks to access, manage, integrate, evaluate, and create
information in order to function in a knowledge society.

18. Instructional Technology- Refers to the theory & practice of design, development, utilization,
management & evaluation of the processes & resources for learning.

19. Internet- Is a massive network of networks, a networking infrastructure. It connects millions of


computers together globally.

20. Multimedia- Is a sequential or simultaneous use of a variety of media formats in a given


presentation or self-study.

21. Offline Digital Tools and Apps- tools and apps that provide teaching-learning services offline.

22. Online Digital Tools and Apps- Uses an internet connection to access the information needed.

23. Podcast- Is a video/audio media clip about a single topic typically in the format of a radio show.

24. Productivity Tool- Refer to any type of software associated by computer & related technologies.

25. Skype- the brand name of a software application and online service that enables voice and video
phone calls over the internet.

26. Software- Refers to program control instructions & accompanies documentation.

27. Technology- Refer to a mix of process & product used in the application of knowledge. It includes
traditional tools to the latest electronic gadgets & tools for practical tasks.

28. Vlog- Is a video blog where each entry is posted as a video instead of the text.

29. VOIP- Voice over Internet Protocol is a category of hardware and software that enables people to
use the Internet as the transmission medium.

30. Web Access- The ability of the learner to access the internet at any point during the lessons in
order to take advantage of the array of available education resources.

31. Webquest- is an inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners
work with comes from the web. These can be created using various programs, including a simple
word processing document that includes links to websites.

32. Wiki- An editable website usually with limited access allows the students to collaboratively create
& post written work or digital files.
33. World Wide Web- A.k.a. Web, which is a graphical environment on computer networks that allows
you to access, view & maintain documentation that include texts & data.
