● Explain how Microsoft® Project 2013 can integrate with Lync infrastructure
The backstage view in Microsoft® Project 2013 includes a variety of new features. One of these features is the ability
to pin recent files you have worked upon in Microsoft® Project 2013.
• The recent files will be at the top of the list that is displayed.
With this feature, Microsoft Project® 2013 files can be saved directly in SharePoint and projects can be synced as well.

The backstage view includes a mini-tutorial on how to use Microsoft® Project 2013. Following are the steps to access
this tutorial:
● Select any task in the timeline and view the path that is required for the task to be completed.
● Take a look at the tasks getting affected by the task whose path is being viewed.
● Detect the predecessors and successors that drive the completion of the task.
If an organization uses Lync internally, Microsoft® Project 2013 will integrate with the Lync infrastructure.
● Lync allows the project managers to interact with any work resource directly from within Microsoft® Project 2013.
● This can be done by hovering the mouse on the resource’s name and selecting it from the Lync menu.
Microsoft® Project 2013 introduces a number of report templates that allow better flexibility.
