Total time allowed for all project 4: hrs.

Project one: - connect hard ware peripheral and operate the computer.

On this project you should connect the major parts of the computer and peripheral and start the
computer or the same project you should customize the desktop find and organize files or folders and
connect to the computer to the internet.

Total time for the project 1: hrs.

Task one: - connect the major parts of the computer and peripherals.

Under this task you should connect the major parts of the computer and peripherals such as, keyboard,
mouse monitor, printer, UPS with the system unit.

Time allowed 20 minute

Task 2 start the computer

Under this task you should check the connection of the major parts of the computer and peripherals and
switch on the computer.

Time allowed 10 minute

Task 3 customize the desk top icons

Under this task you should customize the desk top background to “wind”, and make it “tile” customize
the desktop icons by hide /show all icons of the desk top.

Time allowed 10 minute

Task 4 find and organize files and folder

Under this task you should find the system file called REGEDIT and write the path on note pad and save
it by the name “path” on desk top.

The name task you create folder DDC DDC on my document and delete these folder.
Project 2 maintains hard ware and software inventory and documentation.
Under this task you should maintain hard ware inventory and documentation by accessing the system
information create the following locks like this and save with the name system info in desktop

On this project you should record the client support requirements identify the requirements to be
escalated and prioritize the recorded request.

The Ethiopian airlines has made an agreement on it supply service with the it support office the it
support office is mainly responsible for giving quality service of maintain and troubleshooting hard ware
and software problems reported to the office. And give solution of the problems that reported from
deferent department in timely fashion

On this project you should create a new user account, install the given Symantec end point antivirus and
install Nero 7 upgrade to Nero 8

Task one crate anew user account.

Under this task you should create a new user accounts that cannot access any administrator’s
document but the administrator lets this user account allow to access his “my documents “folder only.

Task 2 install Nero 7 under this task you should install Nero 7

Task 3 upgrade Nero 7 to Nero 8


Under this task you should find the installation requirement of Nero 8 and fill in the following table then
upgrade Nero 7 to Nero 8.

Task 4 installs the given Symantec antivirus software.

Under this task you should install the given Symantec end point antivirus software and configure scan
every one day and 3: hr, also configure update weakly on Monday at 4:00pm.

Task 5 connects the computer to the internet to the internet.

Under this task you should connect the computer to the internet using the given information such as, IP
address, default getaway and DNS Address, browse the web page www.bbc .com .uk.
