(1) The revolution is indicated in 8 digi t dlspl ),
(2) The signal from the transmitter is divided down by an arbitra
pulse signal in the counter.
(3) The unit opera on DC24V, ACIOO to 115V, power source.
(4) The electronic circuit is composed of C MOC IC, and
consumption is srna11 and the reliability is enlrnncecL
(f)) The counter display can be easily adjusted by the switch on L
front paneL
(6) Since the count is held by the memory IC in case of power failu-
re, the interrupted count is displayed when the power is reco---
vered, regardless of the duration of power failure.
(7) Depending on the revolution of the propeller sl1aft or main en-
gine, no-voltage contact pulse signals can be supplied in two
contac , and any one of 1 pulse/1 revolution, l pulse/10 re---
volutios, and 1 pulse/100 revolution modes can be selected.

If the power supply of the counter ls cut off due to accident
or other reason, the count of revoltlons immediately before
failure is stored in the memory element, and when the power is
recovered, the counting is resumed from the intrrupted moment.

Connection
Connect the external input, output signals and the power source ,
as fol lows. (Connect to the terminal board at the back of the
unit.)
o Connect revolution pulse signal between Cl (-) and C2.
o Terminal C3 is for +12V DC 200mA voltage output.
o El to E4 are output terminals of no-voltage contact pulse s1
nals. A same pulse is delivered between El and E2, and bet-
ween E3 and E4. Use at the load of 24V or less and 0. 1 A or
less. Where other than resistance load ls applied, insert a
protective circuit at the load side.
o Terminal FG is for frame ground, which should be connected to
the hhll, that ls, the mounting console of this counter.
o Terminal U and V are for connecting the AClOO to 115V power
source (RE-S8AR type RE-SBA only).

HE~S8DH only.)
This counter can measure the average speed of revolution ln
1 to 5 minutes without affecting the total counting of the rn1rn-

o When the AVEHAGE !\PM button is pressed while the engine is run~

is stopped automatically, and the average speed of' revolution in
the past five minutes is displayed for ~30 seconds, and then the

o When the AVEHAGE HPM button is pressed while the display is
flicknring with numnral 1 to 4, the measurement stops, and the
avnrage speed at that time is displayed for 30 seconds, then
. the display returns to the original revolution counting.
Similarly, when the AVEHAGE !\PM button is pressed during the
speed display, lt returns to the revoution counting,
o The avnrage spend is displayed to the first decimal by rounding
off the second decimal: for example, 121:3.1 (rpm).
o Ir revolution signals are supplied only for 10 seconds during
measurement, it is stopped, and the dlsp]ay returns to thn ori-
ginal revolution counting.
o If AVERAGE RPM button is pressed whl le thn engine is stopped,
"00000000" is displayed for 10 seconds, and the display returns

to the revolution counting.

o When the average speed is measured while the revolution is slow,
being below 30 rpm, it may take a slightly longer time until
the speed is displayed after the measuremnt is stopped.
(For example, at 20 rpm, the maximnm time is ~3 seconds.)
