Independent PE

Rules of Sports
Purpose: To learn more about a certain sport you are interested in.

Requirements:
1. Attend or watch a sporting event of your choosing. It could be a
Helix Charter High School game, professional game, or you may
watch an event on TV.
2. Write a one page (maximum) paper that answers the following
questions:
a. Date and time of game, sport, names of teams.
b. Who won the game and what was the score?
c. What is the object of this sport?
d. How many players play at one time?
e. Where is the sport played?
f. What is the time limitation on the game, if any?
g. Name 3 specific rules for this sport.
h. How do the players show sportsmanship during this sport?
i. What safety equipment do the players use?

4. You may need to ask someone or look up something about the sport to
answer all the questions. Please do so to make sure your assignment is
complete.
