Physics Pracs List

The document contains the list of physics experiments and activities for Class 12. The experiments are divided into two sections - Section A and Section B. Section A includes 6 experiments related to determination of resistivity, resistance, laws of series combination of resistances, comparison of EMF of cells, resistance of galvanometer, and frequency of AC mains. Section B includes experiments to determine focal length of lens, mirror, refractive index, characteristics of p-n junction diode and zener diode. It also lists 6 activities involving household circuits, identification of components, effect of light on LDR, and diffraction of light.

potential difference versus current.
2. To find resistance of a given wire / Standard resistor using metre bridge.
3. To verify the laws of combination (series) of resistances using a metre
bridge.
4. To compare the EMF of two given primary cells using potential meter.
5. To determine resistance of a galvanometer by half deflection Method
and to find its figure of Merit.
6. To find the frequency of AC mains with a sonometer.

Section B
1. To find the focal length of a convex lens by plotting graphs between u & v or
between 1/u and 1/v.
2. To find the value of v for different values of u in case of a concave mirror
and to find the focal length.
3. To determine angle of minimum deviation for a given prism by plotting a
graph between angle of incidence and angle of deviation.
4. To determine refractive index of a glass slab using a traveling microscope.
5. To draw the I-V characteristic curve for a p-n junction diode in forward
