ZETA Addressable Loop Powered Interface Units

The document discusses addressable loop powered interface units that connect ancillary devices to a fire alarm system. There are three versions available: input only, input with output, and sounder circuit controller (output only). The modules address is set via an internal 8 way dil switch and they communicate with the fire alarm panel via an internal LED. The unit fits a standard 2 gang back box for surface or flush mounting.

Addressable Loop Powered Interface Units

The Zeta Addressable Interface Unit is used to connect ancillary

devices to a Zeta Addressable Fire Alarm System.

There are 3 versions available: Input only, Input with Output, and
Sounder Circuit Controller (output only)

As with all addressable modules, their outputs are controlled by the

fire alarm panel. Consequently the modules will behave differently
on different Fire alarm panels. See table below for more information.
The modules address is set via an internal 8 way dil switch.

These modules have the option of connecting the inputs (or output
of the ZSCC) as a loop (Class A). That is, the cable is fed to each
device, and then returned to the interface. The jumper link for input
(or output) must then be moved to position A.

These modules have an internal LED, which flashes as the device

communicates with the Fire Alarm Panel.

The unit fits a standard 2 gang back box, so can be surface or flush
mounted.
