10) Baking of E7018 to be done at 350 deg C. Filler wire should not be baked.After Baking,
rods are dried in holding oven / portable oven.
11) Weld Cleaning by wire brush and grinding
12) Preheating of CS to be done if metal surface temperature goes below 10 deg C.
Maximum preheating temperature to be 100 deg C
13) Interpass temperature to be 150 deg C maximum for CS.

4) Work permit: Permit is required to do any work in a plant. For welding, cutting or
grinding, hot work permit is required.
