Caught in never-ending game

Seems like the world’s still trying to tame me

Struggle magnificently every day

I think that’s just how it should be

The time we have left fills our view

Let’s have a kiss and watch it pass together

Let’s make a plan to meet somewhere

That lies the furthest from “goodbye”

How I hated this lifeless world

Built of nothing but dictionary words

Seen through my kaleidoscope

On a sleepy august morn’

When you appeared in front of me

You glanced away, but I just couldn’t

As if your nervously smiling face

Held all the secrets of the world

Finally, the time has come

Yesterday was an opening chapter

I think it’s okay to skim through it

It’s my turn to bear the load

My experience and my skill

And all the courage I had let start to mildew

At an unprecedented speed, I will

Dive right into you

And when I dozed off into a lukewarm can of cola,

I dreamed a world so far from here that’s not on the map

Searching outside of the classroom window


I merely had to think about your love

To catch that sweet scent of yours

And in the way that you walked

I could hear that bright laughter of yours

Since one day you’ll fade from me

I’ll keep every part of you

Make sure it’s all burned into the back of my eyes

It’s not something that I can just choose to do

It’s a duty that I have to keep

Words like “tomorrow” or “future” or “fate”

No matter how far they extend their grip

We breathe, we dream, we raise our love

In a timeless land that is far out of reach

Even the askew hands of the clock

Look at us sideways as they tick and tock

How I hope to have forever to spend

This life, no-all future lives

Right here in this world with you

Seeing your hair flowing and your bright eyes glowing aches my very soul

Even if every piece of you disappears and scatters everywhere

I’ll start from scratch, and I won’t waver

I’m done waiting to lay claim to your heart

You’ve robbed me of my will to walk away


Why is it you are so close and yet so far away?

I hid my love deep inside me

Love will ruin my heart

My caring is making me fragile

I never showed any weakness until now

I used to be able to endure any hardship

I wish I’d never known love

Bye-bye, yesterday

365 days’ worth of memories
