Sunrise Movement Dallas endorses Jesse Moreno
DALLAS — Sunrise Movement Dallas issued the following statement
announcing its endorsement of Jesse Moreno for Dallas City Council District
2.
“We are proud to support Jesse Moreno in his campaign to represent the
people of Dallas. He is committed to fighting for the most vulnerable in our
community and to Sunrise’s principles and ideals.”

“Sunrise Movement Dallas is ready to help mobilize District 2 and do the work
to send these candidates to the city council.”
To earn Sunrise Dallas’s endorsement, Mr. Moreno cleared a multi-stage
process, which included attending a candidate interview and/or meeting with
Sunrise Dallas’s general membership and ultimately earning more than 2/3s
of the votes of Sunrise Movement Dallas’s active members.
Sunrise Dallas has been holding regular events for his campaign to reach out
to voters in his district.
