INTRODUCTION
This study will tell and inform the students and teachers about the multimedia
information that affects the student’s academic performance. It will also help to improve
the technical skills of a student using the technologies which usually use nowadays to
This research is about how multimedia information develops the technical skills
The usage of multimedia and the information that can get from it is a very useful
way to enhance the skills of an ABM student especially his/her digital task. Using the
computer or other devices, the rationality of ideas will boost the student’s abilities

movies, slides, music and light for purposes such as education or advertisement are
emphasized.

Technical skills involve skills that give the managers the ability and the knowledge to
use a variety of techniques to achieve their objectives. These skills not only involve
operating machines and software, production tools, and pieces of equipment but also
the skills needed to boost sales, design different types of products and services, and
technology for the CPA, multimedia was a natural outgrowth of the personal computer
revolution that has had such a profound impact on the accounting profession. Since its
capabilities for businesses and individuals, and consequently, has dramatically changed
During the '80s and continuing in the '90s, numerous companies have installed or
is being transferred from one storage medium to another. However, until recently, some
types of information could not be stored or retrieved electronically (via computer), such
as audio or video images. Technologies have now been developed to integrate text,
audio, graphics, data-crunching, animation, and video; thus, the PC has become a
multimedia device.
Multimedia information appears to be more effective for learners with low prior
knowledge or attitude in the domain being learned. Mayer (1993) believes that this is
because the multimedia helps low domain knowledge learners to connect the new
knowledge to prior knowledge or, for learning systems such as a bicycle pump, to build
a cognitive model of the system. Multimedia may also make more important information
more obvious. However, learners with high domain knowledge have a rich source of
prior knowledge that can be connected to the new knowledge. These learners can make
these connections or build cognitive models with text alone. Also, learners with high
domain knowledge are more likely to know which information is important and on which

3. How the benefits of multimedia can enhance the technical skill of an ABM
student?

Based on the book of Sampath et. al. (2007), “Learning usually involves both a
student and teacher. But in some of the recent innovation of the educational system,
the teacher needs not physically present to teach.” That is why teachers are using
modern tools from technology to serve as teaching instrument. The helpful tools or
devices that belong in multimedia are LCD projector, computer, lapel, and etc. which

Based on research, the students are learning more when the classroom is alive
in discussing the lessons. Good strategies can also help the teaching while using the
modern technology. Some of the most innovative technologies used in teaching are

teacher’s resourcefulness. It is important to think carefully and not just about your own
interests in the usage of instructional tools. One of the most important roles of the
teacher is to ensure the knowledge that can gain by the students from the tools they

Furthermore, Pingol (2011) added that technology has an ability to improve the
quality of the education in a community. It is easier for the students and teachers to

According to Susan (2008) paper role, entitled “Multimedia Packages Relevance
for Effective Evaluation” has shown the importance of multimedia equipment at present,
the importance of teachers and the evaluation of its use. Multimedia retrieval takes into
account the information that the teacher’s experience of using it can be learned using
programs with an educational objective that can build a situation where the own
understanding of the student can be enhance with the use of their own perception in
information.
The investigator concludes that computers should be integrated into the Mathematics

Base to the study of De Torre, Halis at Joven entitled “The impact of technology

respondents agree that the multimedia will be very helpful to the students. By the use of
multimedia students are more likely to remember the information come from.
All of the literature and studies gathered is showing the importance of modern
technologies in these days. Researchers stated that multimedia is highly useful in the
computer. The student’s mind becomes active in the skill involved about analyzing,
organizing, and building up things using of modern ways. By media, the child learns to
The use of multimedia and information gathering is a great help in everyday life.
According to a study, multimedia has the ability to improve the student to be involved in
different aspects and one of that is well being of a student in mathematics as well as in
organizing. The previous studies stated some benefits of multimedia that is also related
to this research.

questionnaires prepared in the survey were around four (4) questions for the selected
students.
1. The researchers make an interview questions and ask permission in principal and
consent in teachers that have classes to get the data, to gather information through
survey.
2. After getting the permission, the researchers conduct an interview in five sections of
grade 11 ABM students. The researchers used a simple random sampling to choose the
respondents.
