DIRECTION: Record your video of speaking performance for the following speaking topics. You need
to pay attention to your grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency, intonation and sequence.

Topics of speaking:

1. Transfer-in performance: you are performing your speaking ability to conduct the process of
transfer in from the International Airport of IGK Ngurah Rai Denpasar, Bali to Hyatt
International Hotel.
2. City Tour: You are guiding a group of tourists on a bus for a part of tour. Please tell briefly the
place of interest, the information of closing, opening, prices, and the historical facts.
3. Transfer-out: perform your tourist guiding skill to a group of Canadian Tourists from The
Four-Seasons Hotel in Jakarta to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

No. Requirements
1. Transfer-in:
a) Shows the Paging Board,
b) Doing a short introduction,
c) Telling List of group participants,
d) Taking the group to the transport vehicle,
e) Introducing the Assistant Guide and Driver,
f) Assisting the Check-In process at the inn and waiting for the Rooming List,
g) Delivering general information both about the hotel and what is important to know,
h) Telling the tour-Itinerary (dinner time and tomorrow’s schedule)
i) Telling your contact numbers to the participants,
j) Leave-taking/goodbye and reminding to meet again according to the program.
2. City-tour:
a) Greeting
b) Making an Introduction,
c) Telling the Tour Schedule (Tour Itinerary),
d) Telling the General Information: closing, opening, prices, and the historical facts.
e) Closing the presentation including: thanking for the cooperation, apologizing any mistakes,
expressing a desire to see them again, and saying goodbye.
3. Transfer-out:
a) Greeting,
b) Telling the condition of transport vehicle so that it won’t be late to the airport.
c) Reminding all the documents and bags of tour participants are ready.
d) Telling whether there is/there isn’t any Hotel’s bills that the tourists need to pay
e) Notifying the Airport Tax (Rp. 250.000/person = U$D 17,31)
f) Assisting Check-In at the Airport and taking care of the tour participants' luggage.
g) Saying goodbye and apologies
