What is simple Past Tense of Verbs?
- It describes an action or condition that took place to specific in the past. There are different ways of
forming the past tense of verbs depending on the types used as REGULAR and IRREGULAR Verbs.
1. Regular Verbs that ends with a VOWEL, we add ‘d’ to the word.
Example: Care – Cared
Educate – Educated
Force – Forced
Teacher will ask from the learners to give simple past tense sentence of the above examples.
Great because you are learning very fast. Learners, let us give them a DIONESIA CLAP!
(1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3…Very good, very good, very good.)

it.
How to play?
It is played in
7-8 learners with a set of irregular verb cards. They can switch the sets of cards when they finish
playing to practice other
irregular verbs.
1. At the beginning of the game every learner gets 6 cards. The other
cards are put on the desk in a pack. The game can be played clockwise
or counterclockwise. Any learner can start the game by putting on
the desk one card with a verb in the base form. Make sure the learner
do not play in silence. They should pronounce the verb form to
practice pronunciation.
2. The other learner check their cards and if they have verb forms of the
same verb, they should put them on the desk next to the first one in
the correct order. For example, student 1: speak, students 2: spoke,
students 3: spoken. If there all the three verb forms are on the desk in
the correct order, these cards are no longer in the game. Continue until all irregular verbs will be
matched to the pack.
Notes:

answer.
