Minus times Minus (=NEGATIVE X NEGATIVE) is a positive
Mixed Number A whole number and a (vulgar) fraction
Net Shape of solid when its faces are spread out flat
Nonagon A plane figure with 9 sides
Numerator Top number of a fraction
Obtuse Angle An angle more than 90° but less than 180°
Octagon A plane figure with 8 sides
Octahedron A solid with 8 faces
Parallelogram A 4-sided plane figure with two pairs of parallel sides
Pentagon A plane figure with 5 sides
Per Cent (%) means out of 100
Perimeter The total distance round the outside of a shape
Perpendicular At right angles

Polygon A plane figure with many sides
Polyhedron A solid figure with many faces
Prime Number A number that only has two factors, itself and 1
Prism A solid with both ends same size and shape

Reciprocal The same fraction the other way up
