Lesson 5. Why The Future Does Not Need Us: Diagnostics

The document expresses the opinion that the future will not make humans obsolete. It argues that while machines can perform single tasks, humans are capable of complex thought and varied functions. Machines are designed to help humans by increasing efficiency and reducing errors in manual tasks. While artificial intelligence may replace some basic jobs, humans will still be needed to create new technologies and oversee machines. Fundamentally, machines will always require human attention, programming, and maintenance to function.

Why the Future Does Not Need Us

Instructions: Look at the picture. Do you think that there will
come a time in the future that will no longer need humans? Write

your brief opinion on the space provided.

I don’t agree that the future will no longer need us, because humans are
extraordinary & magnificent creation of all mighty. We are the most
amazing creatures. To explain the argument that “machines will never
replace humans”, understand the difference that machines can only be
programmed to execute a single purpose, but the human mind is capable
of executing different functions. Machines are just anything that lessens
manual function while increasing efficiency and decreasing error rate; it
is made to help humans. I would agree to the fact that AI has threatened
human capabilities; emerging services like lazada, shopee and manual
cars are a threat to basic job positions such as Cashier's & Driver's. But
we can't really say that machines would replace human. After all, human
is the mind behind the creation of all technologies and machines. A
machine requires “Human Attention”. Just think about the greatest
invention ever- Airplane. Airplane needs human attention
