CHURCHurch CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Proposal
CHURCHurch CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Proposal
BACKGROUND
The Kirumba Seventh day Adventist Church is located in The South Nyanza Conference, near
Lake Victoria in Mwanza city northern Tanzania. The church was built in the year 1965 with a
sitting capacity of 400. Being the first church to be built around here; it is recognized as the
mother church of all the 56 churches in the city.
Following completion of the old church at kirumba, members multiplied very fast above its
capacity forcing the church leadership at that time to open companies and later fully fledged
churches around the city until it reached the present number of 56 churches.
REASONS FOR BUILDING A NEW CHURCH
During and after that the population in Mwanza city grew larger every day. The church in its
mission to propagate the gospel conducted several crusades throughout the years and won souls
to Jesus thus making the membership at Kirumba church to grow from 100 in 1965 to 1,200 to
date. The church is now small and cannot accommodate all the members. Some members of the
church are forced to worship while standing outside the church building. During the rainy season
the situation is worse as it disrupts the divine service and impedes hearing as those standing
outside will run and squeeze inside to avoid the rain. Also children who always worship outside
the church are the most affected during both the rainy and dry seasons as they are forced to shift
from one place to another to avoid the scorching sun and the rain. We do not have a children’s
church.
Due to this problem the church members have embarked on a new church construction project
with a sitting capacity of 1,800. The project will cost $655,184.After completion of the building,
like adults, children will have their worship room too. The building will also accommodate an
Adventist Radio station, library, conference hall, and offices for various church officials,
This project started in the year 2008. We have managed to do the following; excavation,
leveling, mobilization of material like gravel, steel bars, cement, and sand; erection of several
concrete columns, and construction of foundation. All these have cost the church about $87,500.

CONCLUSION
This is a big project which will take many years for the Kirumba SDA members to complete.
We as members of the church have contributed about $ 87,500 till now and we are still going on.
We want to see this project finished in the shortest period possible. We are therefore appealing to
all GOD fearing people around the world to donate to this important GOD’S work.
When completed the church will accommodate 1,800 seated people. And our dear children will
worship under a roof without fear of the rain or the tropical sun.
Many people will now come to church as there will be enough space to accommodate all
including those who were not coming to church due to the limited sitting capacity and non-
conducive environment of the old church.

magumu. Matokeo ya baadaye, tunataka kuhakikisha
a. Elimu
c. Afya
mwaka)
Kuwafundisha watoto usafi na kuwapa vitendea kazi muhimu
Michezo
Uchoraji, uimbaji, na maigizo
Uendelevu
Elimu
Kuna maeneo mbali mbali ambayo kazi endelevu zimefanyika. Kadiri bajeti
Wachache
wanaoishi wenyewe pamoja na kaka zao na dada zao.

What is GCP?
Global Commission Partners is a non-profit missionary organization that is taking the
Gospel to unreached people groups by supporting local/native missionaries. In this way,
GCP aims to reach the least evangelized people in the world in the most cost-effective way
possible.
GCP works exclusively with unreached people groups because we believe that only after
they are reached will the task of the Great Commission be finished.
In Matthew 24:14, Jesus said, “And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached into all
the world as a testimony unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” The word “nations”
here does not refer to countries. In the original Greek, the word is “etnos”, meaning ethno-
linguistic groups, or people groups. There are over 200 countries in the world, but more than
10,000 people; 4,000+ of which are considered unreached. These people groups have
virtually no access to the Gospel; they have practically no churches nearby, no believers,
and no bibles in their language.
GCP supports native missionaries because we believe they are the most cost-effective
missionary force today. The missionaries serving with these ministries know the local
languages, are intimately acquainted with the culture, can’t be deported, and can be
financially supported with a fraction of what it costs to support a western missionary.
The number one problem in fulfilling the Great Commission is that the western Church
continues to invest most of its resources in areas where there is a strong presence of the
Gospel. As a result, this hinders the Good News from reaching those who have never heard
it. By partnering with native missionaries and working exclusively among unreached people
groups, GCP ensures our donors that their resources are being used as effectively as
possible.
Our Mission
Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached into all the
world as a testimony unto all nations (ethos: ethnic groups); and then shall the end come.”
Matthew 24:14. Global Commission Partners considers this to be the priority in terms of
world evangelization. Therefore, we seek to finish the task the Lord entrusted to us, His
church.
Our President
“The Founder and President of Global Commission Partners is Axel Lanausse, one of the
foremost authorities and advocates of native missions. Axel has extensive experience in both
business and missions. Before being called to full-time mission work, Axel operated A.
Lanausse & Company, Inc., an oil tanker representative for major oil companies. Over the
past 20 years, Axel has led missionary organizations that span the globe, providing support
for hundreds of missionaries on every continent except Australia and Antarctica. Mr.
Lanausse holds a BA in Literature from the University of Washington and a Masters in
Biblical Studies from Luther Rice University. Axel and his wife Rute have two sons, Paulo
and Daniel.”
What we believe has a profound impact on everything we do, both as individuals and as
part of the Church. That is why it is imperative that we have sound biblical doctrine as
our base to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 3:16–17, John 1:1-2, Acts 2:32–33
Jesus
In the deity of Jesus Christ; His virgin birth; His substitutionary death; His bodily
resurrection; His ascension to the Father and His imminent return in power and glory.
Colossians 2:9, Luke 1:30-35, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8, 2 Corinthians 5:21
Holy Spirit
That the Holy Spirit indwells in all true believers and enables them to live a holy life in
order to be a witness for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 2:38, Ephesians 1:13-14
Bible
That the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the supreme authority in all matters
of faith and conduct.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Salvation
That by man’s disobeying God, all humanity incurred in spiritual and physical death. That
the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and that all who believe in Him are declared
righteous before God, apart from works.
John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 2:38
The Church
That the church is the body Christ composed of all true believers empowered by the Holy
Spirit to be a witness to all nations.
1 Corinthians 12:27, Ephesians 4:4
Prayer
PRAY FOR THE UNREACHED!
"When we depend upon organizations, we get what organizations can do; when we rely upon
education, we get what education can do; when we rely upon eloquence, we get what eloquence
can do. And so on. But when we rely upon prayer, we get what God can do."
- A. C. Dixon
Every single believer can get involved in missions through prayer. In Matthew 28:19 and 20,
Jesus gives the Great Commission, telling us to go into “all the world and make disciples of all
nations." In Matthew 14:14 he also tells us that only after we fulfill this mission will the end will
come! Global Commission Partners believes that one of the ways we are expected to fulfill this
task is through intercessory prayer. Prayer has and will continue to be instrumental in reaching
the unreached people groups of the world and God wants you to pray for them!
In order to equip you, we have curated some of the best global prayer resources available. We
hope they will help you pray regularly for the nations of the world!
