The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted education systems around the world in 2020 and reduced learning opportunities for many vulnerable children and adults. Likha Molino IV Elementary School in the Philippines remained committed to its mission of providing quality education despite the challenges of the pandemic. The competent leaders and supportive staff ensured the school's goals and strategies were well-planned and implemented effectively. Although adversities arose due to the new normal, the school remained determined to deliver the best possible teaching and learning experiences to students and fulfill its vision of serving the community.

INTRODUCTION

Year 2020 has created the largest disruption of education system in history
because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This health crisis reduces the opportunities for
many of the most helpless children, youth and adults to continue their learning.
Because of this pandemic, the education disruption has had, and will continue to have,
substantial effects beyond education.
As for Likha Molino IV Elementary School which always considers its mission and
vision to provide quality education and academic excellence among its learners, the
management optimistically focuses on the needs and essentials to make the operation
of the school possible and continuous. The school as a whole never gives up instead
make all the challenges amidst the pandemic to make all its plans and aspirations
successful.
In an organization that comprises of very competent leaders and supportive
subordinates, its goals may be of its realization as process and strategies are all well-
planned and thoroughly implemented. The effectiveness and efficiency of all endeavors
have its impact which primarily gives the learners-the major reason of everything- a
reason to continue the significance of education that may affect their lives in the future.
On the other hand, adversities may come and go because of the new normal set-
up, but these don’t hinder the desire of the school to perform at its full best. These
adversities make each and every one stronger and bolder to embrace everything to
impart teaching- learning experience the new normal way possible. Things may be
considered new but the school never changes in fulfilling and accomplishing all its
dreams to give pride and honor to the community where it belongs.
Truly, the school is renowned and will always be… on top as it is expected
because of its mantra… “Paglilingkod na TAPAT at Edukasyong SAPAT para sa
Batang LIKHANIANS”
