The application and implications of assessment affects the teaching and learning process.
Through assessment, the teacher may know the strength and weaknesses of his/her students
based on their achievements and their assessment results. And it also let the teacher knows the
strength and weaknesses of his/her instructional designs he/she used, what instructional strategies
and approaches are effective and also he/she may know what instructional decisions to be given
after the assessment like whether to move forward with the next topics or give another
interventions regarding with the previous topic.
And as for the students learning, through assessment, the students will know their strength and
weaknesses in order for them to know where he/she excel and and where he/she needs an
improvement. And through assessment, like peer feedback in which the students share their
knowledge about certain topics can make their bonds more stronger. And also it can make this
more knowledgeable in different things and their classmates views and opinions with great
understanding and respect.
