I. Background of the Study

Distributing Covid Vaccines is one of the top priorities of our government right now. We, all

know that Covid-19/SARS-cov2 are still causing problems and damages in our country. In our country,

we already have a total of 771,000 total cases, 604,000 of them have recovered while 13,320 of them

died as of march 3,2021.

We are fortunate enough because a lot of countries in the world offers us their invented

vaccines. This vaccine can help us lower or eliminate the threat of this virus. Seeing our current

situation, we need a proper and a more efficient way of distributing these vaccines. Our government

failed to maximize the use of all our vaccines; some of these are reached its expiration date without

even using it. By March 30, 2021, approximately 738,913 people had been immunized across the

country, with 1,344 providing the second dose. The mass vaccine campaign will start in May 2021.

Examining this numbers, we can see that most of them still didn’t receive the second dose which is very

important.

So, the purpose of this study is to find a more efficient approach in distributing this Covid

vaccines so that our country can maximize the use of its resources and budget.

Statement of the Problem

1. What is the level of significance among the factors that are affecting the distribution of the

vaccines in terms of?

a. Financial Status

b. Job/work

c. Age
2. What intervention plan can be proposed to enhance the ways/approach in distributing covid

vaccines?

II. Approach to be applied

In implementing a more accurate method of giving away covid vaccines, we should have a

certain plan on who, when, and where are we going to vaccinate people. Selecting people who needs

the vaccine more than anyone just like health workers, elders, and people with low immune system. And

also, in order to maximize the use of the vaccines we should vaccinate the people who’s living in the

more affected area like NCR, Cavite, and other cities that are near enough.

III. Stakeholders Engagement

Coordination and negotiation with stakeholders during the project planning period often necessitate

the selection of individuals within groups that act as rightful representatives of their respective

stakeholder party, i.e., those who have been entrusted by their fellow group members. The

representative will be the main source of information that will be used in the implementation of the

plan/project. And also, other organization leader can be useful as an information provider for this

project to be successful.

IV. Governance on handling Vaccines and Distribution.

The distribution and handling of vaccines will be administrated by the Department of Health to

ensure that the proper number of vaccines will be transferred/delivered to different municipalities. We

all know that we cannot trust everyone during this transfer of vaccines, so we will let the DOH account

all the vaccines that has been transferred. And also, to ensure that there is no corruption, and to ensure

a more transparent way of distributing of vaccines, we will have the Civil Society Organization (CSO) to

facilitate and account all these problems.


V. How Information should be managed.

All the information about the transfer, distribution and handling of vaccines should be posted on all

the social media platforms of the Department of Health. For the information on how the project/plan is

going the information should go through the higher ups first before disclosing it to public, so that we can

ensure the credibility of the said information.

VI. Improvements needed for the said program

Since we still lack vaccines to support most of the population, it would be great if there would

be a greater amount of stock. And in terms of manpower, the increase in medical personnel, and

persons that can help with the crowd control during the conduction of vaccination programs would

increase the efficiency of this program. And also, to maximize the resources that will be used in this

program, we need to have a better financial reports that can help us plan our next step and also to

bring transparency to people.
