A dictionary (glossary) of the main terms and their definitions used within the activities of the Technical and

constantly updated.
3.1.DEFINITIONS
For the need of this standard, the following term is defined:
Approved Approved material references (RMA) is a document, sorted by material (chemical designation and
material marking according to standards PSA B62 0020 and B20 1315, with reinforcement and additive),
references specifying:
1. the list of the commercial references of approved plastic materials technically (under SPA
or a FTM, not including validations linked to the colour) and economically (with agreement
on directing price and evolution rules of the material price),as well as the name of the
producers for each commercial reference.
2. their green material content according to standard PSA A12 5200.
3. examples of use on vehicle.
4. the geographical zones in which each quoted commercial reference is technically and
economically validated.
This repertory document is established with the participation of concerned parts and managed by
the Material and process departments and the Purchasing department marketing service of PSA
Group, within the framework of the Plastic purchasing technical policy of PSA PEUGEOT
CITROËN.

4.IDENTIFICATION AND EVOLUTION
RMA documents are identified by a number composed of 10 alphanumerical digits.
This number, attributed by the Purchasing department marketing service, is divided into two parts according to the
diagram below:
/N /N /N /N N N N N
Chemical designation Sequence number
Shortened matter
Notice: The shortened chemical designation of the materials can include signs such as slash, dash, etc.
When it includes less than 6 characters or signs, the designation shall be written on the left and be completed to 6
characters by one or more dashes.
The sequence number refers to a given chemical designation.
Document evolutions lead to evolution indexes (ID), according to standard A10 3120. Each evolution must lead to
a new index.
5.OFFICIALIZATION AND DIFFUSION
The RMA are gathered in a document named « repertory RMA » (cf appendix 1), which is officialised by the DA.
RMA repertory is available in-house on the PSA Group Intranet (PC INFO)
http://dsc.pcinfo.inetpsa.com/nav/domain/fiche.do?OID=300036461.
The Suppliers have access to this repertory through the B2B supplier portal (secured access):
http://b2b.psa-peugeot-citroen.com.
RMA repertory is updated every quarter of each year (1st week of February / May / August / November).
6.RELATION TO DEVELOPMENT DOCUMENTATION
The 10-character number of the RMA document has to be written in the material repertory area of the functional
and supplier drawings.
