Healthy Estop switch

When a button is pressed both the positive and negative circuits are
open circuit removing power and negative to the fuel solenoid stopping
the engine. To fuel solenoid Negative
Test both Positive and negative circuits for continuity.

Check power supply and fuse C25, 10 amp found in the electrical
diagrams.

Check there is a good earth within the system.

• The emergency stop fault needs both positive and negative


channels to be broken. Or shorted together.

• Check all the stop buttons are not pushed in and released.

• Check continuity of both channels these need to be closed


circuit with a resistance less than 1 Ohm. If it is above this
then all the Estop buttons, contactors, cables and plugs in
the circuit will need to be tested and replaced repaired as
necessary.

• There are 6 sockets in breakout module.

• If less then 6 stops are fitted on the machine then the


blanking plugs need to be fitted in place off the stops.

• Check Fuses F1, 15 amp in the panel module and F25, 10


amp in the breakout module and replace and if necessary.

• Remove plug C22 and Plug C23 test the continuity in the wiring plugs not the breakout
module sockets, on C23 wire 1 to wire 2 on C22 and C23 wire 3 to C22 wire 4 on the face
of the plug.

• If an open circuit is found remove all the plugs and test the stops individually to locate the
faulty circuit and replace as necessary

• Check across wires 1 and 3 on plug 22 for open circuit if a short circuit is found then test
each stop individually and check for damaged cables.
