Soccer Video Assignment

Directions:
For this assignment, you will need to put together a video of yourself explaining the soccer
positions and demonstrating multiple soccer skills. You will need to have someone record you
out on a soccer field completing the tasks. While standing in the specific position on the field,
explain the tasks and goal of that position. We have learned soccer skills, including kickoff,
throw-ins, corner kicks, goal kicks, penalty kicks, and free kicks. Before demonstrating each skill,
you must explain the game situation in which you would use the skill. This is an individual
assignment, so please make sure you complete it yourself, besides your videographer. Refer to
the Soccer Video Rubric for grading criteria.

Materials Needed:
1. Soccer ball
2. Soccer field
3. Video camera/phone
4. Computer
5. Person to record video

*It will probably be easiest to record short videos of each task, then piece them together on the
computer with a program. You can use programs such as iMovie, Windows Movie Maker, or if
you know of others.

How to turn in the assignment?


You can upload your video to YouTube, then email the link directly to me. Or you can email me
the attached .jpeg video.
