Science 3 Uses of Heat

The lesson plan aims to identify sources of heat and their uses. It involves grouping students to pick pictures of sources of heat like an iron, stove, kettle, oven, and fireplace. They will describe the source and its uses. Examples of uses are pressing clothes, cooking, boiling water, baking food, and keeping warm. Students are asked to provide other examples of sources and their proper uses for safety in the home. An evaluation activity matches pictures of sources to their uses, such as lighting things, hatching eggs, toasting bread, drying hair, and giving energy.
