Class Notes: Color in Music: Suggested Grades: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th

This document provides instructions for a classroom activity where students listen to a piece of music called "Ballade for Piano and Orchestra" and relate the music to colors. Students will watch a video about how composers use color in music, fill out a worksheet with questions, listen to the piece twice, and then draw or write what colors and images the music inspires in them. The teacher will lead a discussion afterwards about the students' illustrations and interpretations of how the music relates to different colors.
