My name is Nelie France Sanchez, second counsel for the Defense. For today’s confirmation
hearing, we respectfully submit that there are no substantial grounds to hold Nathan Orkhan
for trial for the war crime of of destroying or seizing the enemy’s property unless such
destruction be imperatively demanded by the necessities of war under Article 8(2)(b)(xiii), in
relation with the Kingdom of Khamri’s capture of the oil field and installations in the Desert of
Tusks.
If Your Excellencies have no preliminary questions, I shall now proceed to our submission.
For our Fourth Submission, we submit, that there there are no substantial grounds to hold
Nathan Orkhan for trial for the war crime of of destroying or seizing the enemy’s property
