1 Introduction
This document briefly introduces new features, resolved defects and known problems
in INFINITT Xelis-Dental version 1.0.6.2 BN9.

1.1 Fixed Defects
 (#62736) Restore doesn't operate as expected.
 Reason
- How to regenerate the error
1. Select Draw mask
2. Select "Apply to opaque voxel only" option
3. Apply Remove on 2D image
4. Apply Restore function again. The image is not restored to its original
image, but has some residues

 Reason
- How to regenerate the error
1. Draw mask On

 Impact
- Fixed the problem where the Restore function is not applied in 3D image.
 (#63181) [TMJ] When loading a project file, Sagittal, coronal displays the first image.
 Reason
- When loading a project file made from TMJ screen, the project displays the
first image of Sagittal and Coronal
- It should load the screen where project file is made
 Impact
- It loads the screen where project file is made.
- Even after the users modifies DSI location, when the user moves to other
module or load the saved project, the DSI is always set to the first location.
Now it holds DSI location which is modified.
 (#63182) [TMJ] Project file error
 Reason
- Zoom, Pan, Scaling(3D) except for Axial is not saved
 Impact
- Zoom, Pan and 3D cube Scaling in Lightbox is saved in Project Save
 (#63478) [Report] When canceling Logo addition, Failed message pops up
 Reason
- Failed message should not pop up. When canceling Logo addition, the menu
is closed, and the pop up doesn’t appear.

- When Logo addition is canceled, the Failed pop up doesn’t appear
 (#63585) [3D] Output - Print - PDF Print has image stretched
 Reason
- Output – Print - 'Microsoft Print to PDF' – PDF save has outcome of
stretched image.

 Impact
- Fixed the problem in 'OneNote 2013’ printer.
- Please check other printers too.
 (#63613) [3D] Cross Sectional - Panoramic View - Quick LightBox’s middle bar

 Impact
- (#45222) Panoramic view - QLB dialoig - slide bar problem' issue caused
this error.
- While fixing this issue, the previous issue has been handled again. Please
check the previous issue.
 (#63619) [3D] When Image Properties values are changed, Simple OTF bar does not
synchronize
 Reason
- The changed Image Properties values are applied onto the 3D images, but
are not applied to Simple OTF bars. However, when changing the Simple
OTF values, the values are updated in Image Properties.
 Impact
- When updating Image Properties, the values are also applied to Simple OTF
bars.
 (#63730) Select Curve drawing Tool, go to Utilities>Settings, then the screen and the
cursors have problems
 Reason
- How to regenerate the error
1. In Task>Curve, choose Cross-sectional, General Curve or TMJ line
2. Before clicking anything, or after clicking several points, don’t end the
Curve. Go to Utilities>Settings
3. Close Settings screen, then come back to the screen.
4. The selected tool from Task>Curve is released.
5. The cursor is the Curve drawing cursor, but the curve is not drawn
6. MPR - Rotating Axes doesn’t appear
 Impact
- The selected tools aren’t released after going in and out the Settings window.
But the drawing before Settings is deleted.

- Additionally the problem of cursor initialization when clicking MPR > Rotating
Axes has been fixed. Please check both cases.
 (#63796) In General 3D, draw a curve then, go to VA. It shuts down the program

In General 3D, draw a curve then, go to VA. It shuts down the program

 Impact
- Drawing Curve, then going inside VA doesn’t shut down the program,
however it might take some time to load a long curve.
 (#63815) [3D] With different screen size, Measure - Text box area changes
 Reason
- As the Cross-Sectional View size changes, Measure - Text box area
changes. When the Cross-Sectional View screen gets bigger, Text box area
gets smaller.
- When Cross-Sectional View screen gets smaller, Text box area gets bigger.
It looks like the text box saves its initial size.
 Impact
- Regardless of the screen size, text box can be selected in corrected size
 (#63818) [3D] Select Multiple Insert, then use other functions. Then the Rotating Axes
disappears
 Reason
- Contents : Select Implant>Multiple Insert, then use other functions. Multiple
Insert is released, but Rotating Axes disappears

 Impact
- Cross line appears correctly with these functions
- However when coming back from Settings, just like the #63730 issue,
multiple implant is re-activated.
- Additionally the functions below had the same problem as well.
1. Curve>Select last item–When there is no Last item
2. Implant>Verification View–When canceling (Select outside the Context)
3. Utilities>Free Draw
 (#63923) While using Grow, bug related to Volume happens
 Reason
- Contents: While using Grow, volume manager related bugs are listed below.
- Specific contents
1. In Pick, Grow, if volume is deleted through Volume manager, the
volume is deleted, but grow is usable.
2. In Segmentation option tab, when going from the sculpt tab to grow tab,
the tool button status doesn’t change.
3. While using Grow, when moving to different volume (not moving via
DBM2), it looks like Grow is selected, but other volume doesn’t grow.
(Same with Pick) When coming back to the original volume, 3D is on
grow state, but grow doesn’t work. When you click 3D screen, it works.
(Pick has all the seed disappeared) In this state, clicking grow and done
repeatedly shuts down the program.
 Impact
- Fixed content
1. If the current Volume is deleted, other tools including grow are released
from use.
2. Now, Sculpt, Pick icon exists, but Grow icon doesn’t. In SimpleOTF, one
window contains 3 different tools: Sculpt, Pick, Grow. Going from sculpt
to grow in SimpleOTF, Sculpt icon is in pressed state. (Happens
because there is no Grow icon) This bug will be dealt through a new
issue.
3. When selecting different volume, grow operates normally
- For case 2, when requests listed below comes up, the issue will begin
1. Request for a new Grow Icon (UI is full)
2. Separating sculpt, grow, pick tab will cause confusion to the existing
users.

 (#63935) [Report] When changing ratio in Template report, object moves differently
from the mouse
 Reason
- Needs to move regardless of the ratio
 Impact
- Moves regardless of the ratio
 (#64258) The shortest distance measurement between Implant and Canal is not the
shortest
 Reason
- When rotating the inserted implant, the shortest distance between Canal
curve and Implant does not start from the end of Implant, but from the body.
When Implant angle and position are changed, the line should always be
between the end of Implant and Canal curve
 Impact
- Improved to have the correct shortest distance between Canal and Implant
- If cases still come up with this solution, we need to bring a new measuring
method.

 (#64490) [3D] Cross-Sectional Batch Print doesn’t align properly

 Reason
- When printing Cross-sectional view from Batch Print as PDF, the boxes
don’t have identical size.

 Impact
- When printing as PDF, the cross section images are aligned properly.
 (#64491) [3D] In Batch Print, select only Cross-Sectional, then print PDF. It creates a
lot of blank pages
 Reason
- Contents: In Cross-Sectional Batch Print Layout, printing PDF without Axial,
Panoramic, VR and only Cross-Sectional creates a lot of blank pages.
- How to regenerate the error
1. In Batch Print, select only Cross-Section
2. Set random range in ‘Selected Images’, then click ‘OK’
3. Every time a user presses ‘OK’, the pages are added. (Same with
different ranges.)
4. Under Preview, click the next page button, and the pages are added.
 Impact
- In Preview, or in Print PDF, blank pages don’t generate.
- Even when set to the invalid range, blank pages don’t generate.
 (#64553) Implant display errors in ‘Radial section 2’
 Reason
- How to regenerate the error
1. Implant insert
2. Select ‘Verification view’
3. Implant display errors in ‘Radial section 2’
 Impact
- Implant displays correctly in ‘Radial section 2‘.
- Implant displays changed in ‘Cross section ‘.

Canal’
 Reason
- After drawing Canal curve, in Cross-Sectional View, Hide Nerve Canal works
fine, but Maximize resets the function. Also, in Maximize state, do ‘Hide
Nerve Canal’, then restore resets the function.

 Impact
- Hide Nerve canal state is maintained

 (#64642) [3D] If using 'Lock', When moving the Panoramic View, UI displays
unusually.
 Reason
- Contents: Click the 'Lock' button in the Cross-Sectional View, and then
maximize that. The ruler at the bottom of the 'Panoramic View' moves.
- When progress the following actions in the 'Panoramic View', errors comes
out.
1. Move scroll.
2. Click on the ‘Panoramic View’
3. Move mouse wheel.

 Impact
- Even if maximize the 'Cross-Sectional View', Ruler doesn't moved.
 (#64739) Apply state of 'Lock' in the 'Batch Print'.
 Reason
- Contents: Click the 'Lock' button in the 'Panoramic View', doesn’t apply
‘Lock’ option in the cross-sectional image
- How to regenerate the error
1. Set 'Lock' in the 'Cross-Sectional View'.
2. When changing range of panorama, the range of Cross-sectional
images is not changed.
3. In 'Batch Print', the ranges of Cross-sectional image are changed like
range of panorama.
 Impact
- In 'Batch Print', the range of cross sectional image are unaffected by the
range of panorama.

 (#64869) Capture icon shows ‘On‘ while the ‘Off’ status of capture icon.

1. Click the capture icon when the pick or grow are used, then, a pop-up
window is shown.
2. Click “No“ Button.
3. The Capture icon is shown as ‘On‘ status.
 Impact
1. When the users click the “No“ Button, the capture icon shows
‘Off‘ status and the pick or grow are shown as ‘On‘ status
 (#64933) In 'Batch Print', the Measurement of location is moved on the image.
 Reason
- Contents
1. Add a measure on cross sectional view image
2. Change the width of the cross sectional image
3. Locate the position of the measure in the valid range.
4. In 'Batch Print', the measure in image is shown by a Shift

- Fixed to display the location of measurement where is made

1. Checking Axial and Pano layout in Batch print, VR image is moved
along with axial image.
2. Checking Axial and VR in Batch print, only axial image can be moved.
3. Axial image isn’t print well after checking axial and VR layout option.
 Impact
- Modify the operation not to affect the Axial and VR.
- When print out the batch print, Axial and VR image are applied to the
panning.
 (#65016) Errors in the QLB.
 Reason
- Contents: There’re some problems in the QLB Viewer when using 3D
images.
1. Zoom, pan functions are operating on the only one image. If another
image is changed, it is initialized.

2. After using zoom or pan function, if execute 'Cine player' or 'DICOM

Series Store, images are initialized.

3. After changing Windowing values, if execute 'Cine player', images are

not displayed or program is shut down. (When using 2D images, also
generated.)
4. Select function error.
 In this case, Image no.1 and no.3 were selected. But in the 'Layout
Preview' of 'Print Dialog', there are scout image and Image no.1.
 When included scout image in QLB, error comes out.

 Impact
- Modifications
1. Zoom, pan functions are operating on the only one image. If another
image is changed, it is initialized.
 Zoom or pan function is apply to all images.
 Scout image is individual.

2. After using zoom or pan function, if execute 'Cine player' or 'DICOM

Series Store, images are initialized.
 MPR : Images are not initialized when execute 'Cine player' or
'DICOM Series Store'.
 VR : Scout image and the others are follow to each other. This
problem would be fixed in the other issue.
3. After changing Windowing values, if execute 'Cine player', images are
not displayed or program is shut down. (When using 2D images, also
generated.)
 'Cine player' is executed correctly.
4. Select function error
 Selected images are printed.
 (#65020) 2D Rotate operation error
 Reason
- Contents : When attempting 2D rotate operation, it rotates reverse direction.
 Impact
- When 2D rotation, modified to suit the direction of the mouse.
 (#65083) When change the rendering to VR in Cross sectional view, the VR image
doesn't show
 Reason
- Contents: When change the rendering to VR in Cross sectional view, the VR
image doesn't show.
- How to regenerate the error
1. Draw general curve

2. Change rendering type as VR in perpendicular box.

3. Click cross sectional button on the upper right corner.

4. VR image doesn't show.

 Impact
- Fixed to display the VR images
- Apply to change box size for batch print too.

1.2 Improve
 (#62114) Add Text Property option to Measure menu
 Reason
- In Measure menu, Text and Line color/font properties need to be changed.
 Impact
- In Measure properties option, 'Apply' and 'Ok' options were similar, so ‘Apply’
is removed, and ‘OK does the ‘Apply’ function.
- (Scope2 discussion needed) ‘Set as Default’ checkbox in every Annotation
Property dialog is not checked.

 (#63634) While using Grow, selecting different Tool brings up a pop-up to say Grow
will be stopped.
 Reason
- Contents : While Grow is running, and use Xelis Dental with other functions,
bugs come up.
- Before Improvement 1
1. Use Grow
2. Click another Tool (ex>ruler), then Grow looks like its job is canceled,
but the tool is still available.
3. Go back to Grow, then it is returned to the state before using the ruler.
- Before Improvement 2
1. Use grow -> Using other tool tells the user that 3pick is not available.
 Impact
- After Improvement 1
1. Use Grow
2. Select another Tool (ex>ruler) --> Dialog asking that Grow usage will be
canceled (Yes, no) will pop up
3. Ex > Use different tool / No > Continue to use Grow.

moving the mouse
 Reason
- How to regenerate the error
1. Select Lens
2. While using sculpt, and choosing the region, moving the mouse makes
the area around the mouse blink.
 Impact
- Fixed to not blink when using Lens and sculpt at the same time.
 (#64255) In VR image, CT Table information deletion request
 Reason
- In CBCT image, Facial orientation is more accurate than the Table
orientation. If not in Facial orientation, the orientation should be hidden.

 Impact
- In VR, CT Table information is hidden.
- In Env Configurator, go to PRIVATE  Screen  Angle overlay

 Reason
- Hide ‘Save Project’ - 'SmartVolume'. It is similar to the Project tool, but it is
harder for users to use.
 Impact
- When there is no license in two different tools (Smart volume / Project with
viewer), the disabled button is hidden.
 (#64517) Batch Print_Cross sectional Width control request
 Reason
- When using Batch Print, like “Cross sectional Box size” option, user should
be able to control the Width value.
 Impact
- Width value can be controlled in ‘Cross section’, and the value is applied to
Batch Print and Print.

 (#64630) [Dental3D] Default Windowing Level settings can receive negative values as
well.
 Reason
- Default Windowing Level can only receive positive value. Need to receive
negative values as well.
 Impact
- Windowing level now receives negative value.
- mm unit options in the Option tab can have decimal values.
