Learning Output 
Prepare a plan on how you will conduct assessment based on the core principles you
learned in this lesson. You may also refer to the Kto12 Curriculum to identify the competencies
targeted by instruction and how you intend to assess your future students following the principles
in assessing learning using alternative methods. Use the matrix provided to write your ideas on
how you should design and conduct assessment of students learning based on the core principles.

PRINCIPLE PLAN IN APPLYING THE PRINCIPLES IN


YOUR CLASSROOM ASSESSMENT
Assessment is both process and product Topic/Subject Matter: Figurative Language
oriented. Grade Level: Grade VI
Objective: To demonstrate of understanding of
various linguistics nodes to comprehend
various texts.
Procedure: I will give two poems to my
students and I will ask the difference between
two poems. They will identify what are the
figurative languages used in the poem. This
evaluates the learning of the student through
their process to create a product. The product
of this assessment will add into their
vocabulary and literary interpretation and they
will use it along the way.
Assessment should focus on higher order Topic/Subject Matter: Matter
cognitive outcomes. Grade Level: Grade VI
Objective: To elaborate and explain the
meaning of matter and three physical state of
matter.
Procedure: I will ask the students to create their
understanding about the topic of matter
afterwards they will elaborate and explain it in
front of the class. This assessment encourages
the students to engage in elaboration and
explanation of facts and ideas. I will let them
relate new information to prior experience,
make use of analogies and talk about various
future applications of what they are learning.
Assessment can include a measure of Topic/Subject Matter: Thermometer
noncognitive learning outcome Grade Level: Grade III
Objective: To determine the capability and
skills of the student.
Procedure: First I will ask the students about
their learning according to their past activities.
Then, I will ask the pupils to draw and create
their own poster of thermometer with a correct
label parts. Let the pupils use their imaginative
mind to create an amazing artwork. After the
artwork, Let them present their work in front of
the class. This assessment measure the non-
cognitive learning of the student through
psychomotor and affective tasks.
Assessment should reflect real life or real Topic/Subject Matter: Elements in Acting
world contexts. performance
Grade level: Grade VI
Objective: To appreciate the different emotions
of human being.
Procedure: First I will give them the activity of
identifying different moods and emotions
through imitating and acting out. This activity
will lead them to try the different emotions.
Then the final assessment is role playing. Role
playing enhance the skills of the student to
think and act like in a real world context. Role
playing is a group work therefore the class will
group into 4 groups. I will give them
situational problem and they need to solve their
problem through role playing. The students
need to apply those different facial
expressions. This assessment will evaluate how
the students apply their learning into real life
situation.
Assessment must be comprehensive and Topic/Subject Matter: Measuring the
holistic Temperature of Materials (Science)
Grade Level: Grade III
Objective: To monitor and assess the students
learning about their own used process.
Procedure: The students will answer an
assessment question. I will provide some
worksheet for individual that they will go to
answer. And an assessment sheet that will
assess their learning task. With this activity, I
will identify how the activities and task
provide them learning. This assessment will
help if the students understand and
comprehend knowledge about the topic.
Assessment should lead to student learning. Topic/Subject Matter: Sequencing of Events
Grade Level: Grade II
Objective: To determine if the students can
sequence events with the appropriate step.
Procedure: The students will create a story. I
will evaluate them through writing their own
story. This activity will assess their learning
and ability to write the appropriate sequence of
the event. If they are successfully created a
sequence of a story my strategy used is
effective. I will also use credible
communication and feedback to guide the
student through the task or motivate them to
make their best effort to boost their self-
efficacy.
