Prenotes:

- This version makes use of the Exception routine(s) introduced in CE v6.8+.

Basically, it should considerably
reduce possible game crashes! Also, v7.x has introduced new features not
supported by v6.x !
In general, I tend to verify pre-v7.x (backward) compatibilty. But if something
does not seem to work, try v7.x first.
Bottomline: based on current feature set, preferably use CE v7.1+ or higher...
- Best practise is to load the table AFTER your save game has fully loaded...
- You should only work with 'normal color' cheats (do not touch 'greyed' info)
- When returning to the main game menu, best is to disable any locked values
(including God Mode, etc ~ since it will try to save data to "old" memory
locations)
- FastTravel (and Cutscenes) will 'reset' data structure pointers. Whenever this
happens,
you might need to re-enable selected (sub)options again...
- All values (pointers) will be collected while "active" as player.
(iow not while in 'ESC' or 'TAB' mode; except for the Map Waypoint Marker)
- When you change between DLCs and main game, you'll need to reload the table
(since the game's exe has been reloaded upon returning to game menu...)
- You can use [DXwnd] (v2.04.59 ~ 2.05) to work/play in Windowed Mode
(or use the 'windowed' batchfile to create a patched version)
- If you initially selected an incorrect game_exe, you might be prompted with a
warning upon selected the correct exe.
You can safely ignore this message, and the table will load fine thereafter...

* Player Status:
- Health: can be locked if needed
- Use Godmode [Ctrl+G] primarily during Teleporting...
- Invisible: you will become undetectable
(when already in conflict, move out of sight...)
- Full Breath Underwater: can be locked if needed

* Inventory Supplies:
Only edit values for current protagonist; iow do not edit values NOT part of the
current play session...

* Teleport & Coordinates...:

Prenote:
When selecting any marker on the map, teleporting to that location should be fine.
However, keep in mind that Player will drop from a great height (and therefore
will/could die/desync).
To avoid this altogether, simply enable 'God Mode' first...

- Map Waypoint:
0. Enable 'Map Waypoint' script first...
1. Open map and select an icon (such as chest, fragment, bottle, etc), or any
location
2. Press [Shift+T] while still in the map view...!
3. Press [ESC] and Player should now teleport to that particular location

Notes:
a. If you wind up in some structure (like rocks, hills, trees, building, etc),
simply teleport
to a different location; or use FastTravel. When you try/fail again, see pt b.
(this usually also means your 'Drop Height' is too low)
b. If you keep getting "stuck", zoom in completely and select a location in "close"
proximity...
(and increment your drop height first)
c. You can (normally) not teleport from specific locations/positions
(such as from a boat, the water, a Viewpoint, a haystack, a tree branch, etc)
d. If Player does not seem to reallocate, simply press [Shift+T] again
(you do not need to do this while in map view)
e. If you fall through the world-surface (and into water), it can be very difficult
to get out there.
- if there is a FastTraver nearby, use that.
- teleport to a far distance; then teleport back...
- you can also use Free Roam; the trick here is to change the player's "pose"...
(generally, try to make him stand on some surface above ground in order to
change out of 'swim' modus)

- Free Roam: (you should always enable Godmode when teleporting !)

Once enabled, you can use the Numpad-Keys (see [Help~Info]) to hover around. These
keys work along
the xyz-coordinates respectively (you can not use any other movement-keys during
that time).
Note that you can hold a key to speed up things (and/or combine with another
'hover'-key).
(you could also change a 'stepValue' accordingly ~ see [Script values])
You can end the hover-session either using F10 (or disabling the script) or F12
(which should bring you back to your start position ~ I've noticed that this rarely
happens exactly right in this game)

Note: Free Cam Option 2 : with this option, you control the camera itself.
Unfortunately, it is not as "flexible"
as working with the Player entity. You can speed up certain movements - such as
turning 360 degrees - by using
the arrow keys instead...

- Cam Distance: change the distance towards the player's location (could also be
called FOV)

* Ship Status:
- Health: can be locked if needed
- Invisible: your ship will become undetectable
- Ship Battles...: gets a list of ships in vicinity (both enemy & friendly)
Tip: do not set any ship's health to '0', but give it a value slightly above
'0' !
Notes:
- it can take several seconds (5~10s) to collect the ship records !
- "Ship-types" alternate, but ships are categorized correctly !
(value between [] indicates 'max_value'; value between () indicates 'ship_level')
(if new ships "arrive" you'll need to dis/enable the script again to collect
them...)
(disabling the script should remove all entries; but you can also manually delete
any remaining entries)
- if the script does not seem to enable, switch back to game... and then return
(it needs the 'GcLShip' base address; basically it should show the ship's
health value !)

* Freeze Mission timer...: manually dis/enable (0/1) timer.

You can even manipulate the time range by editing the 'Remaining time'.
(dividing by '30000' will give you that value in seconds)
ps: check respective script descriptives to find out what is working when/where...

* Abstergo Challenges:
Allows you to update/complete the 5 (remaining) online Challenges easily.
(you must return to Main menu and reload your save to see its effect; or use the
'Edit any challenge...' option instead)

> Edit any challenge...: builds a list of all challenges, allowing you to edit
current/actual status value...
To complete a challenge:
0. copy/paste 'addrChallenge' into its corresponding [Value] field
1. set 'Actual' value to its 'Total' value
2. set 'Completed' flag to '0'
(you will also be notified accordingly upon returning in-game)
Note: once a challenge has been set as completed, you can - in most case - still
revert this action !
(set 'Actual' < 'Total', 'Completed' = 1, 'ReActivate' = 1 ~ you might need
to return to main game "for keeps")

Tip 1: preferably do not set it to 'completed' status, but "just below". This
will definitely ensure correct processing
of that challenge by the game !
Tip 2: copy/paste the complete Challenge list in [Notepad] first, for ease of
searching a particular value...
Tip 3: to search for 'Actual' value "23", search for "(23" !
General note: if the CE windows returns a 'not responding' message, just wait till
"released"...
(you can speed up things by pauzing the game, using [Tab/Esc])

* Time of Day: set/lock the actual hour...

* Tools:
- Build Icon Lists: the script will allow you to build/print 2 different lists: a)
all Collectibles b) all Viewpoints
Tip: especially keep a copy of items (chests/feathers) that you've already
collected !
(so you can double-check/tick-off items already collected)
The appropriate items have not yet been collected (or synced).
Options:
1 = list Collectibles still to collect
10 = all Collectibles
2 = list ViewPoints still to sync
20 = all ViewPoints
Note: experience was obtained during ACU/ACS research; tool is not really needed
here...
(but you'll get the exact coordinates though)
Legend:
01 = Chest
06 =
07 = Animus fragment + Manuscript + Shanty + TreasureMap/Secrets
08 =
09 =
11 = Letter
Action: in order to jump to a particular location, follow these steps:
0. first make sure that a waypoint marker is currently "active"
(so that you can fill in new values...)
1. while ingame (!), manually copy/paste each coordinate to their respective
'Waypoint' X-, Y- (and Z-) axis
(fill in Z-height value, if it is higher then '40' !)
2. press [TAB] (go to map); and verify that the (new) waypoint marker is
located within an accessible area...!
3. press [Shift+T] (teleport...), then press [ESC]. You should now teleport
to that location...
Note: if you fill in coordinates directly into the player's coordinate
fields, there is a good chance
that you will crash after doing so a few times...
Tip: if planning to collect a large number of collectibles, play in windowed mode.
ps: if nothing seems to happen, "enable" 'Select your list...' to verify if
pointers are properly collected?!
if they are not, simply return in-game; and then swap back...

* [Tools] menu: (see top menu-bar choices)

> Compact View:
allows you to show/hide the typical CE interface (Compact (default) = show only the
cheats-list)

> Window Mode:

allows you to play the game in Window Mode. However, the standard option creates a
borderless window fixed in the upper_left corner. In order to enjoy "full"
windowing, you must patch the game's exe accordingly! (see also batchfile for more
info)

> Select & Launch Your Game...: allows you to launch the game directly from this
table.
The 1st time, you'll need to find/select your game's (sub)folder. Once the game
hass launched - and you want to keep its (sub)folder location - you can/must save
the table manually to keep that setting permanently.
(see also 'Cheat table settings')

> Show Table Name: will - in most cases - only show correct tablename when game has
not yet been launched/attached.
v7.1+ users will/should always get the correct tablename shown !

> Errors & Settings:

§ Error Statistics...: logs errors handled by CE (basically handling possible
crashing);
and all values should remain at '0' normally

§ Cheat table settings...: (as user you can change certain - default - settings
here)
- Browser: upon clicking the 'Info' button, this broswer will be launched with a
search string to find the related game topic @FRF
(it should use your default search engine)
- Compact View Mode: set your preferred default startup
- Color: will be used as background color in the cheat list overview
(you can use one of the online 'Color picker' tools to get a proper (hex)value)
- Game' exe and (sub)folder: exe used for 'auto-attach'-ing; and opening the proper
game folder via 'Select & Launch Your Game'
Note: the 1st time that you use this feature, your game folder_location will be
copied here. However, you must save
the CE table manually in order to keep this setting permanently.
Also: clear this info in case you have changed your game location
thereafter... (or update it manually here)
Note: use 'apply above changes...' to check out your changes first, before saving !

Important: if you want to keep any change(s) permanently, you must manually save
the table, quit CE and load up the table again!

- Developer tools... (do not use, unless at your own risk)

(allows table author to manage 'system' settings more easily ~ again, not to be
used by gamer at all !)

ps: you can change/introduce hotkeys via CE's 'hotkey' feature

(eg: [Ctrl+G] = dis/enable God Mode)

***************************
[Applies to Older versions]
- Scripts with a '*' in their descriptive enable depending on how you select your
DRM (Uplay, Steam, etc)
Note1: if the script has already been enabled with the incorrect selection, quit
CE and reload...)
Note2: the latest "silent" update - no particular info given - seems to have
added Chinese localisation
Note3: it can take up to 5-10s for CE to detect/enable the proper DRM option; be
patient...

AutoSet DRM system:

To auto-select your DRM system, edit the 'script' and change following; and then
save the CE table:
nDRM:
db 1 <= change to {2} (= CN support)
