GAS Testing Form - Sample

This document contains records of atmospheric testing for various gases at an open ground or confined space location over a period of 15 tests. It lists the project details and tests the levels of pentane, oxygen, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide against acceptable limits. Any test results outside the limits are considered atmospheric hazards and are noted in the legend.

Methane, Butane, Ethane and Propane
2. Oxygen (O2) - Normal Atmosphere contains 20.0 to 21 Percent Oxygen
20.8% - 21% Normal
> 19.5% Oxygen Deficient ( OSHA - 1910.104)
19.5% - 23% Acceptable
3. Carbon Monoxide (CO) - is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas that is slightly less dense than air.

4. Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) -It is a colorless gas with the characteristic odor of rotten eggs.

short-term exposure limit (STEL) is the acceptable average exposure over a short period of time,
usually 15 minutes as long as the time-weighted average is not exceeded.
