Lesson Overview:

Today we are going to be using the information and research we found last week to make a script
and storyboard. We will use this storyboard worksheet to fill in our script and scenes. We will
also continue to use the iPads again to keep gathering information and start looking at the apps
we are going to use to present this information, like Puppet Pals and iMovie. We will use these
apps to create a presentation and present it to the class on the last day we meet.

Interest Launch:

Do you know much about puppet pals and storyboards? We make a storyboard/script so we are able to
plan out what we want to say during our presentation. This will help us to be prepared to make our video
on Thursday.

Procedures: [add additional information about your steps here]

1. Go over the information

2. Questions (key terms we want in presentation)
What rodents should we focus on? Important information?

3. Search and locate (read search results)

4. Record information relevant to the questions on the storyboard.

Reflect and Close: Great work today. We are just about done with our storyboard and script.
We will finish up the final touches next time and then we will begin the puppet pal. We can
reflect on your Cesaw about what we did today.

Your Reflection After Teaching:

What worked well and why?

● To what extent was the student productively engaged?
Cale was very engaged in making the storyboard. Had a hard time at the beginning coming up
with what to make our story about, but once we came up with a plan, he became really engaged
and excited.
● Did the student learn what I intended? Were my instructional goals met? How do I
know?
Yes, because he was filling out the storyboard and actively helping write the script. Had many
great ideas he was sharing with me.
● Did I alter my goals or instructional plan as I taught the lesson? If so, why?
No- he was understanding the material and the way it was taught so there was no need for
revisions as I went
What would I do differently? Why?
● To what extent was the student productively engaged?
I wouldn’t change anything to help his level of engagement.
● Did the student learn what I intended? Were my instructional goals met? How do I
know?
Learned exactly what I intended.
● Did I alter my goals or instructional plan as I taught the lesson? If so, why?
No.
