I chose the first topic “  

It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained


in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge
gained from books. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

We can learn from everything either use media such as book, or from the experience
yourself or the other people. It’s true not everything that is learned is contained in
book. Because something can be learned anywhere, anytime, and from anywhere. But
it’s has make it difference. What make it difference?what can I get if I learn form the
book? And what can I get if I learn from experience?. in my opinion, I agree with the
statement not everything that is learn is contained in the book. Because book are not
the only source of knowledge.

Sometime we get knowledge from the someone experience, he tell something or


knowledge. When we check it in the book, we did not find. For example someone tell
us, their experience about flood, maybe we know why there was a flood because it has
in the book, but we don’t know about that feeling losing their house, losing their field.
Because it don’t have in the book. So some people say experience is the best teacher.

There are two thing us to continue to learn from experience, avoiding mistakes that
we have ever done, so that we don’t repeat them in the future, the most potent means
of continuation.

I agree with Not everything that is learned is contained in books, because we can learn
with the other media, it not only book. I believe that knowledge gained from
experience is more important than that gained from reading books. This is because
knowledge obtained from personal experience is practical and also tends to linger in
our minds.
