1. HOLIDAY.
Last summer vacation, I went to Da Nang with my family. Da Nang
is more wonderful than I though
After 8 hours of driving, we arrived in Da Nang at 7 am, my father
made a reservation at Anantara Hoi An Hotel, a hotel with beautiful scenery
in the Hoi An ancient town
On the first day, at 8am, my family visited Linh Ung Pagoda, one of the
big temples in Da Nang, people came here to pray for health, luck, and peace
for their family. Then we visit My Khe Beach, one of the most beautiful
beaches in the world, blue sea, white sand, special things here, you can buy
fresh seafood at very cheap prices.
After that our whole family returned to the hotel, at 8pm we visited the
Dragon Bridge - a symbol of Da Nang city, my family took a
commemorative photo here.
Day two - because my parents were busy, my younger sister and I visited
the Hoi An ancient town, a street full of colorful lanterns, tried lotus tea and
took a few photos, evening my family visit Love Bridge, a place to keep the
memories of the couple, if you come here try the Turkish ice cream, it is
really interesting.
On the third day, our whole family left the hotel, visited some relatives
and returned home. Da Nang is really a suitable city to live in, very peaceful,
but one thing I do not like in Danang is that in tourist destinations, tourists
litter indiscriminately, causing water pollution in so many places.
This is the first trip of my family, and also the most memorable trip
for me. If I have the opportunity, I will come back to Danang with my
family.
2. BEST FRIEND.
Most people have at least one best friend to share the joys and sorrows
of life. Me too. I also have a close friend, her name is Hieu.
Hieu is 22 years old. We were born and raised together in Quang Binh,
and currently, she is studying and living in Danang.
The first time we met was when I was in 6th grade, we were arranged to
study in the class mate. One day, on my way back home, my bike was
broken, it rained heavily and I forgot to bring an umbrella, Hieu stopped, she
took an umbrella from her bag, and she wanted to share it with me. When we
got home, we were both soaked, since that day we became friends, it has
been 11 years until now. That touched me. It was our first memory.
She has small body, oval face, smiling eyes, and her chubby lips make her
very cute, especially when she smiles.
She not only has a pretty but also a good personality. She knows how to
care and share with others. She is willing to help people when she can. In
particular, she is a very responsible person. When I have a hard time or
when something goes wrong, she is always there for me, and so is she, we
are always ready to share everything with each other in life.
Hieu is a smart girl, enthusiastic in all activities. She is passionate about
languages and has a great love for street food. Every time we met, we made
cakes, read books, and laughed together
Friendship is truly one of the most valuable things in the world to me. I
am proud to have Hieu as a friend. I really love her
3. TET HOLIDAY.
Vietnam is famous for a number of holidays and festivals, especially
Tet holidays. It was a holiday that marked the transfer of the old year to the
new year. It is a traditional Vietnamese holiday
New Year begins on the first day of the first month of the lunar
calendar until at least the third day. There are many traditional dishes
prepared on Tet holiday such as Chung cake, pickled onion, sticky rice and
jam. The food is said to reflect Vietnamese habits and customs as well as the
Vietnamese lifestyle.
Before Tet holiday, my dad and my sister cleaned the house, decorated
kumquat trees, and my mother and I went to the market and bought
ingredients for baking, there were many traditional dishes prepared on Tet
holiday such as Chung cake, sticky rice and jam. The food is said to reflect
Vietnamese habits and customs as well as the Vietnamese lifestyle. On New
Year's Evening, we all gathered around to cook banh chung
On the first day of the new year, we all went to the temple to pray for
good luck, then we visited relatives. In Vietnam, it is customary for adults to
give red envelopes to children for good luck and health.
Tet is a chance for everyone to come home after a year of study, hard
work, people gather together and enjoy a fun time with their family
members.
Tet is not simply a holiday, it is a culture and tradition of Vietnamese
people.
4. Your family.
I was born and raised in a small village in Quang Binh province.
My family has four people: Dad, Mom, a younger sister and me. My parents
are the same age, My father's name is The, he is 44 years old, probably because my
father is a carpenter, so he looks very tall and strong. My mother's name is Cuu,
my parents are the same age, she is a very beautiful, friendly woman who knows
how to take care of others, her main job is to make cakes. Another person I really
love in my family is my younger sister, her name is Phương, She is 15 years old,
and now she is student at secondary school.
From 2016, I came from Quang Binh to Hanoi to start studying at the university,
because the distance is so far, about 500km, so I just only go home about twice a
year, so I really appreciate the moments in with family, parents.
Every time I get home, I like to wake up early and go to the market with my
mother, my dad and my younger sister take care of the egetable garden.
In our free time, we all make cakes, watch movies together and laugh together.
I really love my family, I am so happy to be born under a roof full of love.
5. Your hometown.
I was born and raised in Quang Binh province. A province in central
Vietnam, and the birthplace of the Vietnamese General: General Vo Nguyen
Giap.
As you know, when talking about Quang Binh, most people will think of
the blue sea, yellow sand. Quang Binh is famous for caves and beaches such
as Son Doong cave, Phong Nha cave and Nhat Le beach. .
And one special thing, I think if you can, you should try when coming to
my hometown, that is: try fresh seafood right on the beach, with only
200,000 dong , you can have a plate of fresh seafood.
The people of my hometown are friendly, hospitable and kind: they are
willing to help you if they can
In the past, the people of Quang Binh were very difficult. They grow rice,
sweet potatoes and corn to make a living. Today, thanks to economic,
educational and scientific development, they have used machines in
agricultural production and created new products of quality control and
made Quang Binh more and more developed.I love my hometown very
much, but one thing I dislike is that air pollution in factories is affecting
human health.
If there were a few words to describe Quang Binh, I would say:
peaceful, friendly and fresh. I love my homeland and I am proud to be a
child born in Quang Binh
6. TV
As society grows, television is a necessary device in every family.
Television, also known as TV, TV is an achievement of modern science
and technology, but it also brings advantages and disadvantages in human
life.
Talk about the advantages
Firstly, TV provides people with information about: economic,
political, cultural and social news…of countries in the world. Help
people connect information and expand knowledge.
Secondly, TV brings us knowledge about language, math, science,
technology, music, learning new skills…language learning channel for
children, adults, math channel, scientific discoveries in the world. . .
Our children can learn foreign languages through music channels, science
channels, foreign cartoons
Thirdly, TV not only brings about knowledge about cuisine, fashion
trends…but also help them expand knowledge and connect with culture
and cuisine with countries around the world.
Last but not least, TV is the source of entertainment after school, work
stress, we come home and enjoy a song, or a movie with family on TV
entertainment channel.
Besides the advantages, the TV has such disadvantages
Firstly, watching TV for a long time will affect our health, especially
affect our eyesight
Secondly, violent acts that reflect social reality through reality dramas
affect children's awareness and education.
Lastly, watching TV for too many hours wastes time and distracts
people
Television provides information with a variety of news channels
that bring great advantages to modern life, but there are still
disadvantages affecting people. So we have to be selective.
7. Reading
Reading book is a good habit, reading book is one of the ways to open
the door to the world
Talk about the advantages
First, reading books helps people know the origin, history of struggle and
national construction of their nation: historical landmarks, kings through the
ages, heroes of the nation. . .
Secondly, reading books helps us expand knowledge about: economy,
politics, society, food, good customs and culture. . . of countries in the world
Thirdly, reading is the way to help people learn: we can read different
languages in the world, learn about science, math,. . . through reading books,
besides we can learn more new skills, business skills through reading books.
Last but not least, reading book for entertainment, for busy people,
reading is the way they relax and entertain after a hard working day
Besides the advantages, reading books has disadvantages such as:
Firstly, reading too much will affect the eyesight
Secondly, there are some books with incorrect content, which will affect
the reader's information, especially minors.
Finally, reading too much, not selective, will easily make the reader
impractical and waste of time
Reading provides knowledge with various information to help readers
expand knowledge, but if reading is not selective, you will be misunderstood
and affect the reception of your information.
8. Future plan
Everyone of us will have our own plans, plans for the future, me too
Currently, I am a final year student at university, my major is food
technology. I always want to bring the community and family the best
nutritional value and freshest products. But I know I have to study and work
hard, my plan at this point is to defend my thesis well.
After that, I will register as a trainee at a food company for about three
months to gain practical experience as well as the opportunity to work in a
good company.
For the next 2 years, I will become a product research and development
employee at a confectionery company.
In the next 5-year plan, I will return to my hometown and develop my
family's confectionery company, creating products that ensure quality and
traditional flavors on modern technology.
In fact, after I finish my student life, it can be very difficult and
challenging, but with love, enthusiasm, I will do it.
9. Working day
I am still a student and my day starts with studying at my university
I started my day at 6 am, I woke up, and prepared breakfast for the
whole family. After that I went to the University, our class started at 7am,
we had 5 hours to study specialized subjects, between 5 classes there would
be a break, we would exchange more about knowledge in lessons.
I came home from school at 12:00 am, because the time at school was
busy, so my mother used to cook lunch for the whole family, after lunch I
washed dishes and cleaned the house, I spent 2 hours in the afternoon to take
care of grandma’s vegetable garden
At 6 pm I started to cook dinner for the whole family, after a busy day, our
whole family gathered together to have dinner and share a day together, after
dinner, my parents used to watch movies, my younger sister did her
homework, and I chose a quiet space to study a foreign language, or play a
piano song. My day ends at 11 pm, I take care of my skin and go to sleep.
There are not many activities in my day, because I always want to
spend more time with my family and my hobbies.
10 , mother
Mom is one of the most wonderful and powerful women in my family.
My mother's main job was a baker, so one day my mother started early in the
morning, at 5 am my mother woke up to prepare ingredients and guide everyone in
the bakery shop.
While I was preparing breakfast, my mother took care of the early morning
vegetable garden for my grandmother, her breakfast was usually in a hurry maybe
because the shop was too busy, 7 am after the end of breakfast, my mother is
involved in baking with everyone in the shop
At 12 noon everyone and she has an hour off for lunch and rest, lunch will usually
be prepared by my father, since our whole family is very busy. At 1pm, everyone
came back to work at the store, although Mom was always busy with the work at
the store
At 6 pm when the job was over, she still wanted to prepare dinner for the whole
family, because With mom, busy work does not have much time to take care of the
family, I want dinner the whole family will gather together and share with each
other the fatigue of a long day. 8 pm is the time for mom, she chooses watching
movies with her father is the way she enjoys relaxing moments.
My mother's day ends at 10 pm, skin care and go to bed early
I greatly admire my mother, who showed me the image of a Vietnamese woman
