MPR Template V 2.0

Monthly Progress Report (MPR) is a key tool to circulate information in your project team, and keep active the responsiveness of your team. It is a good practice to keep an updated list of the Action Items open at the meetings with ESA, and comment on the activities affecting the Action Items. A good Monthly Progress Report is a tool not only to keep ESA informed, but the whole project team be systematic; provide the Monthly Progress Report on time, and not only during the first months.

Although you are free to adopt your own structure, please try to follow these
guidelines:

• Be concise
• Avoid a report that is too structured (like reporting by WP)
• Do not keep reporting past issues adding new things to old ones, which are not
anymore relevant for the time span covered in the report
• Consider the Monthly Progress Report as a tool not only to keep ESA
informed, but the whole project team
• Be systematic; provide the Monthly Progress Report on time, and not only
during the first months. A good Monthly Progress Report is a key tool to
circulate information in your project team, and keep active the responsiveness
of your team
B. Action Items List

It is a good practice to keep an updated list of the Action Items open at the meetings
with ESA. Our suggestion is to organise this in a spreadsheet as below. In this
paragraph you can summarise and comment on the activities affecting the Action
Items.

N.B.: Projects that use eProject can obtain the table below in automatic mode,
using the “MPR Contribution” function under “Report”. The table obtained in
this way can be exported in MS Word and easily imported in the MPR
document.
