Substance
- A form of matter possessing constant physical properties under a specific condition is called substance.
Physical properties
- They are the characteristics a substance that shows without changing in to new substances.
Example color, melting point, boiling point, density etc
Chemical properties
- Chemical properties are characteristics that describe the ability of a substance to form new substance.
Example digesting of food rusting of iron
- Measurable physical properties are melting point, boiling point, density and electrical conductivity.
- Density is defined as the mass per unit volume of a substance.
