MATHCLUB OUTREACH PROGRAM

I. INTRODUCTION

In Lecheria Integrated School, Math Department Club is addressing the needs of the students in
their continuous learning amidst of Covid-Pandemic. The organization who was concerned with the
status, needs and prospects of education in the welfare and performance of the students. Much of the
focal concerns of the organization are on how to mobilize officers of the organization in sharing
their knowledge in math in the community that’s why this project LOVE in the community in
realized. For the school community to get the sympathy and cooperation of the public, immersion,
diversity and a part of its time must be programmed to promote teacher-community relation.
Regardless of the size of the school, its program for public relation must always be addressed.

II. PLANNING

Last December 21, 2020 at 1:00 pm, Lecheria Interagted School held its first outreach program
in Brgy. Silangan Lecheria Court. The officers and the teachers in math club help each other to
prepare the school supplies, food, facemask and facesheilds that will be given to the recipients of
Grade 9 and 10 students. Mrs. Fadriquelan prepared a leaflet about real numbers. These leaflets were
used in teaching those recipients to have a better understanding about some basic concepts in Math.

III. IMPLEMENTATION
Mr. Celso Delapena welcomed all the participants of the said event. The program started with a
prayer by Mrs. Jan Paula T. Apundar and was immediately followed by the one of the head teacher
of Lecheria Interagted School, Mrs. Tessie L. Cadaucan who delivered her welcome remarks.
Right after the opening remarks of Mrs. Cadaucan, the discussion of the main activity was discussed
by Mrs. Catherine S. Fadriquelan .She started her speech with the discussion of the realization of
real numbers and its application in real life. After the speech, the math club officers proceed to the
dissemination of school supplies and conducting of the tutorial. Those students were eager to learn
and to enjoy the moment that they were guided on how to understand some basic concepts in
Mathematics. After the discussion, the participants of the event were given an assessment and
evaluation form. Some beverages and foods were given to the student and parents who participated
the event. To end the activity, Daniel Ariola gave his closing remarks.
