s(n+1)/4 and Quartile Score= Lower Quartile score + excess (Upper Quartile Score-Lower Quartile Score)

53.9+.25(54.4-53.9)

Q1=54.03

Q2=2(12+1)/4

26/4=6.5

54.8+.5(55.0-54.8)

Q2=54.9

Q3=3(12+1)/4

39/4=9.75

56.0+.9(56.4-56.0)

Q3=56.36

Interquartile Range= Q3-Q1

IR=56.36-54.03

IR=2.33
DECILES FORMULA:

s(n+1)/10

Decile Score: Lower Decile Score+ Excess (Upper Decile Score-Lower Decile Score)

D5= 5(12+1)/10= 6.5

D5=54.8+.5(55.0-54.8)

D5= 54.9

D8=8(12+1)/10=10.4

D8=56.4+.4(57.7-56.4)

D8=56.92
