55 – 2020

RESOLUTION APPROVING BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 1-2020 OF


BARANGAY EASTERN LOOC, “AN ORDINANCE DECLARING EVERY 17 TH DAY
OF MARCH AS ARAW NG EASTERN LOOC, PLARDIDEL, MISAMIS
OCCIDENTAL”

WHEREAS, the Barangay Ordinance No. 1-2020 of Barangay Eastern Looc, this
municipality, was presented to this August Body for review and approval;

WHEREAS, said Barangay Ordinance was referred to the Committee on Rules,


Laws & Public Information who had conducted a committee meeting and found all
requisites to be in order, rendered a committee report that was adopted by the
honorable body;

WHEREAS, after careful study and due evaluation, the Sangguniang Bayan
found out that the enactment of such ordinance are within the ambit of powers, duties
and functions conferred to Sangguniang Barangay enshrined in the Local Government
Code specifically on Section 152 and Section 391 (a) (7);

WHEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and on motion of SB Member


Lucita M. Aviles, duly seconded by SB Member Flor B. Bulang, with the favorable
support of the Sangguniang Bayan Members present. Be it –

RESOLVED TO APPROVE, AS IT HEREBY APPROVES, BARANGAY


ORDINANCE NO. 1-2020 OF BARANGAY EASTERN LOOC, “AN ORDINANCE
DECLARING EVERY 17TH DAY OF MARCH AS ARAW NG EASTERN LOOC,
PLARDIDEL, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL”

RESOLVED FINALLY that a copy of this resolution be furnished to all


concerned for their information and guidance.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
