ELECTROSCOPE
Anelectroscope thatcanbeusedfordetecting
is aninstrument thepresence
of an electricstaticcharge.We describeherean electronicversionof the
electroscopHnethatis madewithgoldfoilsplacedintoa glass
traditional
jar.Thiscircuitcan alsobe usedfor "snitfing"
highvoltagewithoutactually
makingcontactwithdangerous circuitry.
A metalring,whichconstitutesthe sensor,is simplypokedintothe electric
