Established in 1999 and based in Singapore, FiberTek started off with supplying fiber optic passive components
and later on expanded its product range to satisfy the market demand. Dedicated to provide a complete range

Distributed temperature sensing fiber optic cable (DTS Cable) allows precise temperature measurements to be
obtained. DTS cable can function as a linear sensor which allows the temperature to be taken while working in
conjunction with a distributed temperature measurement equipment. Temperature can be measured over a long
distance with a high precision of ±1 degree Celsius. It can be deployed in various areas whereby temperature
monitoring is required, especially in areas where accessibility is restricted due to the environmental factors. The

Armoured Patchcord

 MPO Solution
The MPO solution seeks to provide a complete solution to resolve the requirements in today’s high-
density networking environments such as the data centres. The MPO solution includes the connectors,
patchcords,truck cables, fan-out cables, cassettes and panels which are designed to meet the demand
for high-density networking and also at the same time provide high space-saving functionality.

MPO Connector
The MPO connector allows various sets of optical fiber count that
range from 8 optical fibers up to 24 optical fibers to be connected at

MPO-LC Fanout Cable

MPO to LC Fanout cable is a patch cable that comes with an MPO connector at one end while the
other end will be fanned out to LC connectors. The number of fibers used can be 8, 12 or 24. The
MPO to LC fanout cable is utilized to fit the high-density optical fiber patching in data centres, which
requires organized cable management and to provide space-saving.

MPO Cassette and Chassis

MPO Chassis
The MPO chassis is suitable for 19-inch rack mounting and features a compact structure that enables
space-saving, as it can be mounted within the same network cabinet with the other devices. Both
1U and 2U chassis are available. A 1U chassis can accommodate up to 5 MPO cassettes (FMCS/FMCL
Cassettes) while the 2U chassis can accommodate up to 14 MPO cassettes (FMCS/FMCL Cassettes), the
unused slot will be covered up with a blank plate.

 MPO Fanout - FMCX-FAN
The FMCX-FAN fanout comes with either 12 or 24 optical fibers which is terminated with an MPO
connector at one end, while the other end is terminated with LC or SC connector. It comes with a
standard length of 0.25m. User can choose the configuration if they need to do any replacement for
the fanout inside the MPO cassette.

FCNCS & FCNID SERIES ETHERNET MEDIA CONVERTERS

The FCNCS series are commercial grade Ethernet media converters while the FCNID series are industrial grade Ethernet media
converters. The FCNID series converters can be deployed in harsher environments with their higher operating temperature range
of up to 85 degrees Celsius. Both FCNCS and FCNID series media converters are able to communicate seamlessly without the
requirements of any adjustments for them to work together. This feature allows users to mix and match on the numbers of com-
mercial grade converters and industrial grade converters to achieve greater cost saving.

The FCNCS and FCNID series converters use the small form pluggable (SFP) for the fiber interface. This feature provides flexibility
as users are not restricted to the fiber type of the converters. POE (Power over Ethernet) functionality is also provided by certain

INDUSTRIAL GRADE SMALL FORM-FACTOR PLUGGABLE (SFP)

TRANSCEIVERS
The industrial-grade SFP transceivers are compact in size and hot-pluggable, which allows them to be connected or removed from
the network connections without disrupting the operation of the networks. They can support a broad range of operating temperature
up to 85 degrees Celsius, which allow them to be deployed in harsh industrial environmental conditions. Both SFPs which can work
with a simplex (bi-directional) fiber or duplex fibers are available.

FCRID-100-1DT & FCRID-100-2DT Series
FCRID-100 series Serial to Fiber Converters can handle multiple serial interface modes – RS-232 (RXD, TXD, GND), RS-485 (A,
B half-duplex mode) to RS-422 (RX-, RX +, TX-, TX + full duplex mode). They can extend the distance of serial transmission to
over 2km with the multimode optical fiber and up to 20km with the use of singlemode optical fiber. The converters can operate
in a broad temperature range which can reach as high as 85 degrees Celsius which allow them to be deployed in harsh industrial
environments.

The FCMID-1EN-1R2/1R4 modbus serial gateway comes with 1 10/100Base-T(X)) RJ45 port, 1 RS-485/422 serial port and 1
RS-232 serial port. It can support the auto-negotiation adaptive technology and operate with a wide range of voltage power input
that ranges from 12 to 48VDC. With its wide working temperature range from -40 to 85 degree Celsius, it can be deployed at harsh
industrial environment providing convenient serial port communication solutions.

FCPID-1P12 & FCPID-2P12 Series
The FCPID-1P12 & FCPID-2P12 series Profibus to Fiber Converter can convert profibus signals to optical fiber signal and extend
the transmission distance. The transmission distance can be extended by 2km if multimode optical fiber is selected. On the other
hand, the singlemode optical fiber enables the transmission distance to be extended by 20km.

VIDEO AUDIO DATA AND CONTACT FIBER CONVERTERS

This range of fiber converters is mainly used to convert the electrical video, audio, data and contact signal to light signal and
vice versa. With this, such electrical signals can be transmitted over a longer distance eliminating the distance limit if they were
to transmit over in their original form over copper cables.

The conversion can be done in a digital or analogue format which produces different signal quality after the conversion. There
are also different digital conversions for the video signal, depending on the signal requirement, the type of conversion can
be selected. Since the converters cover all kind of signals, these make them applicable to many areas especially security
application like surveillance at airport, railway station, on the road and important premises.
