Culture Diversity Reflection 2
1. Openness and curiosity about cultures can make progress of culture diversity and
show our respect to people who have different cultures, for example, people can
taste many different countries traditional in one place. However, it maybe causes
that some misunderstanding and discrimination.
2. The interview of Ian resonated the most with me. When he analyzed the most
different between his country (US) and China, he mentioned the Covid-19, and he
thought China is much safer than now. I’m proud of my country and hope that the
whole world can struggle against epidemic and beat it.
3. Of course. I have learned that how to cooperate with others well and edit videos. I
was good at work by myself instead of cooperation, because I think communicate

with others is inconvenient and embarrassing. However, I enjoy working with my
group members because everyone can share the responsibility for the whole work
and raise new ideas. In addition, I learned how to make a video and edited the
video about some interview in our assignment.
4. I have learned a lot from the interview of foreign professors, and I know culture
diversity more intuitively thanks for their vivid examples. I think culture diversity
more important than what I think before, and I begin having more interests in
culture diversity than before. These are the two biggest differences of my
thoughts.
5. Most of my peers in Wenzhou are Chinese, so there are many similarities in us,
such as the same language, the similar appearances, the similar eating habits and
so on. However, because we come form many different areas in China, we also
have something different. For instance, a group member who is from Henan
Province like eating noodles, but my roommate and I who come from Hunan
Province prefer eating rice.
6. These videos make me know that people who have similar appearances maybe
have totally different cultures. Before making interviews for professors in WKU, I
often thought that people who looks similar must have similar habits and culture,
but now I know that is wrong. Culture is a complete issue and it doesn’t just
depend on appearance even have little relation with appearance.
7. WKU students’ videos show their respect and curiosity to different cultures. Plus,
WKU students pursuit openness and development of culture diversity.

8. I think we have the similar worldview because we have the similar education.
Most of us appreciate different cultures and want to learn more about it. We can
respect people coming from different countries because we know that our world is
a entirety and we are in a Sino-foreign university.
