This app lesson plan has three steps for fourth grade students to learn about planets and constellations. In the first step, students will use an app to view facts and pictures of planets and choose one to research. The second step has students use Google to further research their chosen planet and a constellation. Finally, students will create a presentation in the ShowMe app using the information they gathered about their planet and the constellation, including drawing the constellation. The lesson ties together three apps and aims to develop students' knowledge of planets, constellations, and the solar system while meeting two relevant South Carolina teaching standards.
