Introduce the PDP setting:
The use of a professional development plan is an essential part of improving
teaching, achieving educational success, and reaching teaching goals. Teachers use this plan
to plan for a variety of things through continuous training and learning of new and innovative
teaching strategies and tools to improve teaching curricula, enhance student learning in their
classrooms, and moving on to more learning. Therefore, teachers must develop a plan that
helps them to ensure the achievement of learning goals and the use of effective plans in
teaching. For example, cooperation helps to exchange ideas between the teacher and students
and what the students face the students' difficulties in education. So, that allows the teacher to
know the levels of students by allowing them individual or collective participation among
them. Also, there are several educational and professional goals working into tools and
resources necessary to achieve them in professional and educational development.
Professional development includes many goals. For instance, technology integration and how
to make education enjoyable in the classroom (Professional Development for Teachers,
2019). As a teacher, I must create this kind of successful atmosphere where students can get
to their full potential. In this perfect classroom, I can provide a safe environment where
children can share their ideas and take through the tools of modern technology that encourage
this trend. As a teacher, I am responsible for helping students develop capabilities and this is
important for every child to feel safe in school and should enjoy going to school every day.

Justify your professional development goals for this semester.

Professional development is part of my responsibility as a teacher, that part where I
can discover existing skills that I can use in new or alternative situations in education. I may
wish to focus on establishing myself as a teacher and developing my teaching effectiveness in
the classroom, setting myself several goals that will help me achieve my success in the field
of education. Firstly, I will make my goals fit the students' requirements. Secondly, preparing
activities that suit all different educational levels. Finally, I will work to motivate students to
attract their attention and increase their desire to learn, in addition to recommendations that
have contributed to improving my performance and developing my abilities in preparing
activities and setting goals that helped me achieve my goals.

Goal 1:

To use different strategies to motivate students for learning “Self-Assessment”

Action 1:
1. Use the exit cards during finish the lesson.
2. Paired marking.
3. Use a small padlet to answer questions.
4. Try to know the student’s level.
5. Dividing the students into groups by different levels.
6. Use a different way to attract the student to learning.
7. Use traffic lights to make sure how many students understand the lesson.

(8 tools for peer and self-assessment, n.d)

Reflections & actuality

Self-assessment is a powerful strategy in the educational process. As students who can assess
their learning are more effective, engaged, enthusiastic, and have more confidence in their
ability to achieve success, and if the learning does not succeed, they can adapt their
approach. As they show higher. First, I created a Quiz using the Nearpod program. Second, I
started explaining the lesson to students in the classroom and then gave the students a Quiz
linked to the lesson to make sure that the students understood the lesson, and this method
helps the teacher to make sure that the students understand the lesson, and clarifies what the
student’s performance is for the teacher. In addition, it provides information for the teacher
and can be used to help shape a new teaching plan for students.

8. Monitor students' work in the classroom.
9. Determine the extra time for students to finish their assignments.
10. Organize the day by priorities. (Team , n.d)
Reflections & actuality
Time management is one of the most required and important skills in working
as a teacher. The teacher needs to achieve a balance between long-term goals
and short-term goals for the classroom and a great deal of paperwork such as
teaching, lesson plans, and exam marking. Effective time management helps
increase student productivity and improve learning. First, as a teacher in
general need to divide the lesson time into five parts. Each part has time, for
example, introduction 10 minutes, modeling 10 minutes, activities 15
minutes, closing 5 minutes, and quiz 5 minutes so, the period of the whole
lesson is 45 minutes. Second, I use timing during each part by using the
Nearpod program. As a teacher, this time management method helped
improve students ’understanding of the lessons they receive daily. Moreover,
reaching the best results.

To use the modern technology tools and apply it in each lesson.
Action
3:
1. Use the several management strategies such us class dojo,

2. Write down the rules instruction in the classroom.
3. I use an appropriate strategy that works with students
during teaching
4. Have a wealthy learning environment what all student’s
need for learning. Such as pens, a small whiteboard, colors,
and other tools.
5. Give each student the task of the leader in his group and put time for him/her to
finish the task so, that I can control the students during finishes the activities.
6. Use the smartboard to teach the students during teaching.
(D'Angelo, Jill M, Wooley, & Ann, n.d)
Reflections & actuality

One study discovers students' perceptions of the value that technology provides to
the classroom. The results of the study demonstrated that students maintain the
perception that modern teaching methods (PowerPoint, programs, and videos) are
effective and that they have contributed to increasing their productivity. Teachers
need to rethink how technology is used to engage students. First, I created the
lesson by using the Nearpod program. The Nearpod program provides many
features, including the ability to download lessons, questions, and opinion polls,
organize competitions and display them directly on the student’s devices and
track the number of students who follow the lesson directly from the control
panel. Second, I started explaining the lesson the next day by using the Nearpod
and Teams programs. As a teacher, these programs helped me as a collaboration
tool between student and teacher, providing interactive content for students and
easy downloading of lessons, questions, polls, and grades present.

Goal 4:

Creating creative extra Activities for students.

Action 4:
Extra activities with specific time should be provided to students to keep
they busy with work until all students finish.
1. Art activities such as drawing and painting.
2. Puzzle solving activities.
3. Activities Image Description.
4. Activities Write a story that represents the pictures
in front of you.
5. Matching activities.
6. Activities record the observation of the experiment.
7. Electronic educational activities.
8. Encourage hands-on learning. (19 innovative classroom ideas to promote
creativity, n.d)
Reflections & actuality

Creating extra activities motivates students to do more, especially for high-

level students. It also controls student clutter in this part of the lesson. First,
every teacher must do additional activities without the main activity, for
example, drawing, connecting the picture and the word, congruence, and a
puzzle by using several programs such as Kahoot, Nearpod and quizzes.
This activity students' will work after completing the main activity so that
they are not distracting the attention of other students in performing the
activity. This method helps the teacher to invest in the student's free time
and helps the teacher in controlling the students during the tasks.
Moreover, it will help the teacher distinguish between the students who
absorb the lesson through their performance in the activity.
