HAYPAROOF

Description: HAYPAROOF: a high-build acrylic roof coating which forms a highly


durable elastomeric membrane with excellent UV resistance,
flexibility and water proofing properties. The product is ready to use
single component material and have excellent flexibility and
elongation properties and provides a seamless waterproofing
membrane for roof areas.

Recommended use: As water isolation material over concrete, masonry, woodwork,


tiles, steel, also it is well suited to protect expanded polyurethane
foam from deterioration by U. V. rays.

Substrates: Concrete, masonry, cement rendering, and natural stones.

Shelf life/storage 12 months from date of production.


The product must be stored as per local storage regulations and
conditions:
should be kept in dry and well-ventilated location far from heat and
direct sunlight.

Availability: Available in 18 kg (Palstic can)

PHYSICAL CONSTANTS:
Shade /Colors: White, Gray and Oxide red.
Finish: Semi flat.
Volume solids %: 70 %
Theoretical spreading 1, 4 m² / liter (500 micron DFT) for Roof coating.

3.5 m²/liter (200 micron DFT) for vertical surfaces.
Recommended DFT: 500 micron for roofs / 200 microns for vertical surfaces.
Density: 1,4 kg/ liter.
Elongation at Break: At least 400% (1 mm thick, at + 20 ° C, after 24 hours).
Dry to touch: 3 hour(s) 20°C/68°F.
Hard Dry: 24 hour(s) 20°C/68°F.
Recoat interval, min.: 3 - 6 hours (20°C /68°F).

Application Details:
Application method: Brush / Roll - Air spray – Airless spray
Thinner Fresh Water.
Thinning ratio: Brush and roll (10 %) – Air spray (20 %) – Airless spray (5 %)

Surface The surface should be stable, firm, dry and free from dust, sand, loose old paint,
Preparation: laitance, dirt, grease and oil. It is recommended to apply a primer/sealer prior
to the specified filling procedure. Touch-up with primer/sealer on areas repaired
with filler is recommended prior to application of topcoats.

Filling: Mix 2-3 parts of sand to 1 part of Hayparoof to fill cracks and holes in the
concrete.
Preceding Use suitable primer for metal or wood before applying the product.

Cleaning: Clean all equipment and tools with water immediately after use.

Remark: - All technical data stated in this Product Data Sheet are based on laboratory
tests. Actual values may vary due to circumstances beyond our controls.
- This product is not suitable for waterproofing in ponds or areas with
pressurized water.
- Newly applied material should not be exposed to rain and frost for 24 hours.
- Thickness should be at least 1mm in applications that will be exposed to
sunlight
- It should not be used in rainy and fog weather under + 5 ° C.
