Bayanihan Review Paper Gr. 11 H.e-A

The document summarizes an artwork called "Bayanihan" by Botong Francisco. It depicts Filipinos coming together to help move a neighbor's house, showing the Filipino spirit of communal unity and cooperation. The analysis notes the painting uses light colors to depict the perseverance and happiness of the Filipinos as they help each other. It interprets the painting as representing how rural Filipinos would help neighbors move houses. The judgment is that the painting helps viewers see the true unity of Filipinos and their hard work in helping one another without expecting anything in return.

“Bayanihan”

Description
 The Artwork by Botong Francisco was a traditional or trade of culture by Filipino
even before.

 These are how Filipino shows unity by helping their neighborhood to move there
house in one location that's called Bahay Kubo.

 Filipino people carried it until they arrived at there destination that's are showing
their perseverance in doing their task.

Analysis
 My analysis in this artwork is a light color. That the artist thinks that it accurate in
the painting showing the perseverance and unity of Filipino people could be the light
means at peace and how happy they are doing it and how he proud showing the
traditional culture in this painting.

Interpretation
 My Interpretation of this artwork is how Filipinos helping their neighbors to move
their house into a new place at most of them are in a rural area.

 "Bayanihan is a Filipino word derived from the word Bayan means town, nation, or
community in general. "Bayanihan" literally means "being a bayan," and is thus
used to refer to a spirit of communal unity and cooperation"

 The Bayanihan is still alive not only in carrying the nipa hut but also in calamities
and disasters we have it.

Judgment
 We should always remember and value how Filipino being persistent in what they
do.

Page 2 to 3
 The artist helps us to see the true unity of Filipinos using his Bayanihan painting.

 And last it shows even before that Filipinos are very hardworking people and
helping each other without expecting anything in return.

Conclusion
 To conclude, I could say that Bayanihan is how we are having unity before up until
now at the most difficult time, and willing to help without expecting anything in
return. But also some people bring you down and not all the time they will be there
for you. Therefore we should always help each other, so our country is going to be
better with great people too.
