2. appreciate effective oral texts by writing;
3. answer the given exercises; and
4. develop a sense of appreciation in giving accurate details.

TASK: Make a reflection paper on how the NEW NORMAL changes the
society and Education. Make sure to explain your observation based on
experience or relevant happenings.
WHAT I CAN DO?
Activity 5: “Wrap it up”
Exercie 1. Tell a story about the importance of speaking and writing as part of the
English subject by writing it in your communication notebook.
Exercis 2. Make a musical production with original lyrics and film yourself with the help
of your family or friends. The song is intended or tribute for the frontliners
(soldiers,nurses,doctors,clerks,teachers, etc.) who sacrifice their lives to save other
people at midst of pandemic crisis.
Exercise 3. Make a poem or essay on the language barriers especially this situation on
“modules” as a second alternative in continuing learning for the students.

Activity 6: “Write me up”
NOTE: The The teacher may modify the given situations mentioned above.
Directions: Look for a clip from a local or international TV show or from radio
broadcasting which showcases at least one of the types of speech style. Determine the
appropriateness of the speech style to the communicative situation. Explain your
observation.
Directions: Choose one of the following speech types below then write a speech
anchored on your choice. Your work shall be delivered in front of an audience if Face to
Face classess can be allowed, if not the Teacher will look for any other alternatives:
Just pick one only.
Make sure that the student can come up with a scoring sheet from the
neighbor-classmate or from an elder member of the family whom
he/she shared his/her story based on the given rubric below.
