Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

Their customers are companies across the globe to which our 7,500 employees across the
international locations offer innovative, top-quality products and services in the fields of IT
Services and Operations.
They are looking for enthusiastic and agile candidates to the position of Infrastructure DevOps
Engineer to our BI & Big Data team in Budapest.
Their platform is a diverse product consisting of several technologies. This characteristic should be
reflected in their cross functional team of individuals who have a deep understanding of their technical
specialty and at the same time are able to work outside of their core area. They encourage to contribute

and experiences.

Responsibilities
 Implement and maintain the cloud infrastructure for our platform
 Ensure the smooth operation of our environment
 Evaluate new technologies in the field of infrastructure automation and cloud computing
 Look for opportunities to improve performance, reliability and automation
 Provide DevOps capability to team mates and customers
 Resolve incidents and change requests
 Document Solutions and communicate it to the users

Professional Requirements
 Advanced experience with Linux incl. Scripting (Bash, Python)
 Advanced experience with Cloud Infrastructure / Cloud Services (preferable on Microsoft
Azure)
 Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
 Log and metrics management, Monitoring (ELK Stack, Prometheus)
 Infrastructure as code / Deployment and configuration automation (Ansible, Terraform)
 Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Nexus)
 Infrastructure Security Principles
 Networking

Advantages

 Virtualization (KVM, Citrix etc.)


 Proficiency in at least one programming language
 Software engineering (design patterns, version control, automated testing, concurrent
programming etc.)
 Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Neo4J)
 Distributed systems (e.g. Apache Spark, Dask)
 Event based systems (e.g. Apache Kafka)
 Additional Container Orchestration (Nomad)

Other skills

 Bachelor (BSc), Master (MSc) or equivalent experience in a technical field (for example,
Computer Science, Engineering...)
 DevOps mindset (taking responsibility for your work)
 Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and tools
 Team player open to work in an agile environment
 Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must
 Customer orientation & communication skills
